Okay, after two days of delays and four years of work, I can
finally be proud to say that "The Circle of the Digidestined" has
been completed at long last! Look below, and for 24 hours, you can
read the finale here. That'll be until 11:30 pm EST on Saturday,
though it could possibly be later if the premiere of the fourth
"Inuyasha" movie on Adult Swim keeps me away... which means an
extra hour or two of up-ness. It's weird, I don't even like that
show anymore, yet I want to see that movie. (And I haven't seen
the two-part 'series finale' either.)
Speaking of 'series finales' that stink... yeah, this would
probably qualify, but I already moped enough in the final author's
notes. You can go read about it there.
I will also be posting it immediately on FF.net once I'm done
here. So it'll be there to read over the holidays.
This wasn't supposed to be my last update here in 2006, but that's
the way it's going to end up. Though I may still be doing some
work behind the scenes during the holiday week, there will be no
physical content updates at all.
On the other side of the new year, I will post those final five
episodes here permanently, update the FAQ to say "Circle" has been
completed (as well as some other things), and have some new reviews
to get to (but I have to watch the DVDs first). The latter may be
a big reason why you may not see or hear from me until the end of
January, fanfic writing-wise or website updating-wise. Though for
some odd reason, I always find time to go to the boards at Toon
Zone. Eh... go figure.
Therefore, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! See ya in '07!

*Runs in after another day with a lack of sleep with a huge
document to upload onto the website*
Whew! For a minute there, I thought I was going to have to delay
it once again! But have no fear... the newest episode of "The
Circle of the Digidestined" has arrived! This week, in the first
part of the two-part finale, one character dies, two more barely
avert meeting the same fate, a few are reunited, and a pair of
nuclear missiles are barreling towards a city unaware of the danger
approaching them. Sound interesting to you? Then go read Episode
25, up right now and for the next 24 hours!
The link is below... go now while you still can!

Yes, I already know that it's early Friday morning.
Anyway, here's that update that supposed to make up for there not
being a new "The Circle of the Digidestined" this week. It's the
long awaited (or not) review of the third volume of "My-HiME!"
What's happening with my favorite gal Mai this time around? And
will I spill who the newest HiME are? You'll have to go read the
review to find out!
Okay, seriously, here's a good reason. The cover has Mai, Mikoto,
and Natsuki dressed in nothing but swimsuits. SWIMSUITS! If
that doesn't get your blood flowing... well, I don't know what will.
Meanwhile, I'll add Volume 4 to the queue...

If you're hear awaiting posting of this week's episode of "The
Circle of the Digidestined," you're gonna be disappointed. It's
not ready to be released this week. I'm working out some minor
details to make sure nothing gets left out of the last two
episodes, so it's going to be delayed at least a week.
To make it up to you, I'm gonna try to get you a content update for
the site tonight. Just give me a few hours...
November 29, 2006
Oy... it's hard when you have to lose sleep in order to make sure a
fanfic gets finished on time. But like heck you wanna hear about
that... the newest episode of "The Circle of the Digidestined" is
up! And only a few minutes late...
Remember, it's going to be available for 24 hours only! After that,
you'll have to go to Fanfiction.net to get it! In the meantime, go
click on that little link below!
It may be a few days before I'm back in a mood to update this site
with something else, so bear with me, k?

A day late and a dollar short? Hmmm... I think I have change...
Anyone, more from a month full of Pokémon-related updates! Tonight,
check out my picks for the Top 10 Moments of the Pokémon Anime!
Who made the list? Is your favorite on there? Am I full of
baloney? Go check out the list now and then voice your opinion!
Also, I've abandoned trying to write a review for the "Excel Saga
Complete Collection" set. The series overall was a disappointment,
to say the least, and it probably would've been the lowest-rated
review I've ever given. But... after struggling to get through
watching the show, I didn't want to spend more time struggling to
write a review about it. So there.
See ya whenever the next update turns up!

Another week, another brand-new episode of "The Circle of the
Digidestined!" Go enjoy it now... you've only got 24 hours!
As for "The Year of Rocket's Revenge," well, there wasn't a release
last week and there very well might not be one this week, either.
I've kinda hit a roadblock, unfortunately. I'm trying to get past
it, but... it's really tough. If you don't see at least one new
chapter by Friday, well, then you know there won't be a release this
week either.
Anyway, speaking of Friday, that's when the next update will be! In
the meantime... have a happy Thanksgiving!

As I said, "The Circle of the Digidestined" sneak peek was only for
24 hours! And 12 hours ago, that special period ended. If you missed
it... don't worry! It's now up at Fanfiction.net! Or, has been for
12 hours, but I digress. And don't forget that to get in on the
newest episode early, you've got come here to the Update Page! Every
Wednesday night for the remainder of the series, a new episode will
get posted at 6 pm EST, for 24 hours! Don't be late for the next
sneak peek!
Meanwhile, if you're out braving the elements trying to get your hands
on one of those Sony Playstation 3s, which comes out today, well, I
pity you. Especially if you're in my neck of the woods, or practically
anywhere on the East Coast, because it rained cats and dogs yesterday.
Some of you up further north are probably getting that big torrential
rainstorm right now as I speak, eh, type. And I hear a lot of the
people aren't getting it to play the system, but rather to sell it on
eBay for upwards of three or four times the purchase price. Which was
already high to begin with... $600 for the high-end system, for crying
out loud! I like playing video games as much as the next person, but
geese louise, I'm not putting my life on hold for three or four days
just to get a next-gen system that'll be more plentiful in six to 12
months and, hopefully, at a cheaper price. And then to sell it... is
it really worth it after all of that?
Okay, on second thought... I actually pity you poor suckers who will
be the buyers that make all the sellers' misery all that more worth
it. If I ain't gonna pay $500 - $600 at retail at launch, I can't
imagine those people who willingly are going to pay $2000 or more just
to please someone in the family for Christmas. Buy them something
cheaper... clothes, toys, heck, even a cheaper game system.
I'm not anti-Sony, just anti-launch. The Nintendo Wii is about half
the price of the Playstation 3, and even if it's still available in a
few weeks, I'm holding out anyway for both systems to get better
games. Or rather, games I'm more interested in. Call me 'not
willing to commit unless I know I'll buy enough games to make the
system's purchase worth it.' I mean, I don't exactly have money to
throw away for systems, as good as they might be in the long run,
and they may potentially have problems that make it/them worthless.
I'm gonna be thrilled to hear all these stories about how successful
(or not) people were getting a Playstation 3 and/or a Wii. Let's
see who turns out to be the geniuses and who ends up looking like
fools.
That long segway about the new videogame systems brings me to the
only system I've bought this year (and probably will stay that way).
The innovative Nintendo DS. Now originally, I was going to review
"New Super Mario Brothers," but problem is, I couldn't find someone
to try out the multiplayer functions with. I may still post a review
without focusing on them, but we'll see. In the meantime, here's
the second update for this Pokémon-themed month, as I review
"Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team!" Eh... there was some
things I liked about this game and some I didn't. Go read the full
review now to see what I thought about the latest Pokémon game.
Okay, technically, "Pokémon Ranger" came out a month after "Mystery
Dungeon," and I may end up reviewing that too. That first, of
course, depends on me actually buying the game... so stay tuned.
If I get some time, I may dish out another Pokémon-themed update
this weekend to try and make up lost ground. Those of you looking
for the latest chapter of "The Year of Rocket's Revenge," it should
be up sometime later today at Fanfiction.net.

Wow... I wasn't expecting to wait two weeks between the last update
and now for something else to pop up here. It's been really busy for
me lately. Man, I guess this Pokémon-highlighted 7th year anniversary
is going bust, eh? Heck, this isn't even a Pokémon-related update!
It's been five months since the last episode of "The Circle of the
Digidestined" was posted. If you read the news on my profile page at
Fanfiction.net, you know what I'm blabbering about right now. The
series resumes starting tonight, and for the next five weeks until we
get to the end. Every Wednesday from this point on, starting at
approximately 6 pm EST, and for 24 hours, you'll be able to read the
new episode first right here! The links to the sneak peeks will
be posted here, on this page. They will NOT be in the
normal section for the series.
Once the 24 hours are up, it'll be removed from this page and then
posted at Fanfiction.net, as per a regular Thursday release schedule.
The final five episodes won't be reposted here after that until the end
of the year.
As I finish typing this up, it's about 15 minutes to six. So the link
will be available shortly. Enjoy, and please, if you give a hoot,
either drop me an e-mail or post a review at FF.net on Thursday
telling me what you think about it! I'd really enjoy it!
Oh, and remember, "The Circle of the Digidestined" is an R-rated
fanfic. Do keep that in mind, though I can't remember the last
episode that sufficiently earned that rating... better to keep my
bases covered in case another such episode pops up eventually.
I'll try to get back on track for this month with hopefully at least
one more update later this week.

Happy Halloween! Or, given how late this update is coming... Happy
All Saints' Day! But even more importantly... Happy 7th Writing
Anniversary to me!
My first ever piece of fanfiction was released to the public on
October 31st, 1999, seven years ago today! Boy, I've come a long way
since then, haven't I?
To celebrate, I'm pimping out the next month with a whole bunch of
Pokémon-related updates! New reviews, new editorials, new fanfics,
you'll see it all in the next month! It all starts tonight, with the
belated posting of "The Year of Rocket's Revenge, Session: September,"
the full-sized version. It took a whole lot longer than expected to
finish, given how much had to be added to make the uncut goodness
worthwhile. Go and read it now, why don't you?
For those of you who aren't Pokémon lovers, there's no reason to
fret! There will be a number of non-Pokémon updates coming in
November, too! One of which is related to the resumption of "The
Circle of the Digidestined!" There's a big announcement regarding
that fanfic that'll be given out this Thursday on my profile page at
Fanfiction.net. Make sure to drop by there to find out the big news!
In the meantime, I implore you... if you haven't seen "Heroes" yet,
then you're missing the best new action drama in primetime! It
airs Monday nights at 9 pm Eastern on NBC. If you're an action and/or
comic book fanatic, then you should NOT be skipping this show! Go
see what all the buzz is about!
See you in a few days for the next update!

Because I'm overdue for a manga review again, well... here you go!
A review of the final volume (#28) of "Rurouni Kenshin." And on a
Sunday, no less! I have to say, I'm going to miss it. It's one of
my favorite reads of the past year because it does well portraying its
fight scenes, as well as the occassional comedy bit for laughs. So
come help say farewell to Kenshin with my stupendous review!
Also, if you haven't noticed, I'm officially 16 days away from
celebrating my seventh anniversary as a fanfic writer. That's right,
Halloween night, October 31st, 1999, was the release date of my first
fanfic ever! Hmmm... I guess I should plan something special,
considering I went AWOL on this site for all of last fall.
Anyone got any ideas?
