I smiled evilly as I admired the gigantic ray gun in front of me. "In mere hours, this expensive new weapon of ours will finally be ready to unfreeze the polar ice caps and create a new, joyful world. One that is free of heat waves and is better for my health." "But wouldn't that mean I cannot tan in the sunlight anymore?" asked my son, not entirely happy with my newest plot for world conquest. "Yes, but there's no need for such trivialities in our winter wonderland paradise." "You mean with the snow and the ice and the... ski bunnies?" My son started to smile. "Maybe this melting thing isn't so bad after all." "That's the spirit! Now, let us retire for a few hours while we wait for the ray gun's batteries to fully charge." Unfortunately, we weren't going to get that luxury, as the security alarm started to go off. Junior and I ran over to the control panel, where one of the cameras had spotted an intruder by the front gate. A girl wearing a black tank top and gray cargo pants. A girl whom I was very familiar with. "So... it looks like our arch-nemesis Kim Possible has come to stop our evil scheme!" I exclaimed. "Or she's finally come to her senses," my love-struck son babbled. "She must know that we are meant to be..." I was about to smack Junior for once again thinking about going steady with our foe, but then I noticed two more girls in the background, waving at 'Kim.' "Hmmm... it looks like Kim Possible has some new sidekicks." "That, or some fine-looking sisters. If Kim Possible turns me down again, do you think one of them would want to go out with me?" For that remark, I did smack my son across the face. Foolish boy, having thoughts that he shouldn't even be having in the first place. "Whomever they are, they are trespassing on our island. I feel it's time to give Kim Possible and her fellow patriots the welcome mat. Or rather... pull it out from underneath them." I finished my statement just as I pushed a black button in front of me. Junior and I watched the screen as a trap door opened underneath the three girls, and they fell into it. "Now... let's go greet our guests, eh Junior?" ====== (Zita's POV) A few minutes ago, I was having the time of my life! Traveling halfway across the world, skydiving out of a plane, sneaking into the enemy headquarters. Okay, so I didn't fare too well on the sneaking in part, but still... it's like I was playing a real-life video game! I never imagined I'd have so much fun being a heroine like Kim. Maybe I should think about asking her to take me on one of her missions. That would be the bomb! But first things first... I've gotta knock all of the bugs out of my head after that nasty fall. "Ugh..." I muttered. "What Level-50 warrior ran us over? And... what kind of evil lair is this?" As I came to my senses, I glanced around the room, already noting the posh design and expensive home improvements that made me think this Seņor Senior I was dealing with had a whole lot more money on him than I thought. I also noticed that I was hanging several feet off of the ground, with my arms and legs bound by ropes. Only at that point did I also remember that I had not taken this mission on alone. My two fellow party members on this quest were also waking up, and were noticing our predicament as well. "Eek!" the brown-haired girl to my right screamed. "I demand I be let out of here! I'm no damsel-in-distress, let me assure you!" Bonnie was twisting and turning all about, trying to break free. But the only thing she succeeded in doing was spinning us about and tightening our bonds even more. As I prepared to berate her for doing so, my other companion, the raven-haired girl to my left, had saw me looking about and was about to point out something I apparently missed. "A diamond-encrusted disco ball?" she shouted, motioning towards the knick-knack hanging roughly 20 feet away. "Okay... this guy's obviously rolling in dough." Monique was quite enamored with all of the pricey scenery, despite our predicament. Still, it was obvious by the look on her face that she, on the inside, was really more concerned about us being caught. "Like I care!" Bonnie quipped. "What kind of foolhardy millionaire would put all of this stuff on an island in the middle of the ocean where he has no one to show it off to?" "The kind with a penchant for world domination, that's what!" Monique answered. "Ah, but you are wrong, young ladies." I had to turn around to see who that last statement came from. My hunch was right, as I saw that the man we were after, Seņor Senior, Sr., had entered the room to check on us, his prisoners. "I am a billionaire," he said, "and far from foolhardy, I can assure you." "Eewww..." I heard Bonnie cry out. "Kim is an enemy of this guy? She sure picks the strangest people to have as enemies. Not to mention the weirdest crushes." "She's so lost," I smiled, rolling my eyes. "Typical vapid cheerleader," Monique added with a smirk. "Hey!" Bonnie responded, offended by our smug remarks. "I thought Kim Possible could do anything," Senior said to us. "But the fact that she sends three amateurs to stop my latest plan for world conquest disappoints me." "Where does he get off calling us amateurs?" I thought to myself. Still, we technically are, considering Monique asked Bonnie and I to help her on this mission without warning... ====== [Roughly two hours ago, Middleton High School] I was outside the school auditorium, chatting with my friends Chad, June, and Horatio. You see, 'Everlot 2: The Infinite Scrolls' came out over a month ago, and we were having a friendly competition amongst ourselves. We were trying to see who could get to the famed Loch of Forgotten Souls first. Apparently, even for experts of the original game such as ourselves, we were struggling to get there. "I keep getting caught in the Gauntlet," Chad said. "Those Pythagorean Pterdactoyls are hard to beat." "Tell me about it," June sighed, shaking her head. "You'd think getting the Wings of Paralysis would be a good thing, but no..." "What about you, Zita?" Horatio asked me. "Na... I'm still way back in the Pyramids of Abu Dabu. I can't find the key to escape from the King's Tomb... it's driving me crazy!" June laughed. "Seriously? Of all things... I thought you'd get through that lickety-split!" "Apparently, Zita's having too much of a social life for us..." Chad commented. But I shook my head in denial. "No, not true! It's just... I've got a lot on my mind." "Then I hope you've got room for one more little thing!" a voice behind us muttered. We all turned and saw Monique standing behind us... though at the time, only Chad knew her personally. So I was quite surprised when she grabbed me by the arm and tried to pull me away from the others. "Girl, we need to talk!" Monique said, somewhat demanding. "Do I know you?" I asked. "Monique, don't be picking on her!" Chad said, coming to my defense. "I'm not picking on her! I just need her to help me with something. It's very important!" "Give me one good reason why I should go with you." Monique smirked and said 'his' name. "Ron Stoppable." I gasped. What was up with this girl? Does she know Ron? My former relationship with him? Was she trying to get back together with me? Considering the way we broke up, I wasn't looking forward to seeing him face-to-face. After all, we had been avoiding each other this entire senior year. "I don't know who you are, but if you're trying to get me hooked back up with Ron... it ain't happenin'!" Monique rolled her eyes. "Girl, if I wanted to do that, I would've tried that the minute you and Ron broke up! This is more important than that!" "Like what?" "How would you like to save the world... for real?" I heard my friends gasp in shock behind me. "I'm listening..." "Well, you know Kim Possible, right? Well, guess what? Kim... needs you!" ====== A couple of minutes later, the two of us were in the A/V room, along with Bonnie, who I was also meeting for the first time. "Bonnie, Zita. Zita, Bonnie." Monique said, introducing us to each other. "Who's this girl?" Bonnie pointed at me. "Another one of Kim's loser friends, I bet." "You got a cheerleader?" I asked, not confident of Bonnie's ability to help us help Kim... and annoyed at her attitude. "I'm only doing this because I owe Kim," Bonnie said smugly. "That, and Monique here gave me a deal I just couldn't refuse." "Whatever... can we just get this thing started?" "Certainly..." said a ten-year old boy who suddenly appeared on the screen of the TV next to me. "I'm Wade... Kim's resident boy genius!" "That's amazing," I gasped, heavily impressed by Wade's technical skills. "So you're the little dude Kim takes orders from?" Bonnie asked him. "What are you... like, seven?" "Ten," corrected Wade, "and I don't give her orders. I just help her." "Fine, fine, whatever, can we get to the point of this whole... thing that Kim apparently can't handle herself?" "I'm curious too," Monique said, turning to Wade. "Just what kind of mission are you sending us on? And you're sending us there instead of Kim for what reason?" "Allow me to explain... Kim and Ron are over in Mongolia. Apparently, Doctor Drakken believes they have nuclear-powered technology and wants to use it to create a massive explosive device of the highest caliber. Probably to hold some unsuspecting county for ransom." "Doctor who?" Monique asked. "Doctor Drakken," Wade repeated, pulling up a photo of him. "He's blue..." "And freaky," Bonnie added. "This guy wants to rule the world? Ha... not with that scar on his face." "Anyway, they were on their way there when I got another distress call... this one from Europe!" "You're sending us to France, aren't you?" Bonnie asked, excitedly. "I take back everything bad I said about you!" "You said something bad about me?" "Don't take it so bad," I spoke up. "She says something bad about pretty much everyone." Wade rolled his eyes. "Anyway... it seems Seņor Senior, Sr. and Seņor Senior, Jr. are creating a ray gun powerful enough to melt the polar ice caps near Spain. Apparently, they want to turn it into their own winter wonderland." He punched up a picture of our target... and he wasn't the looker, I can tell you that much. "Excuse me?" Bonnie said. "We have to fight some old guy with a stick?" "He looks pretty harmless to me," I commented aloud, taking pity on him. "That photo almost makes me want to send him a gift basket." "This guy seriously can't be one of Kim's bad guys, can it?" Monique wondered. "Having a lot of boredom and nothing to do in retirement can do that to a guy, I guess." "He doesn't look so harmless," Monique said. "Okay, I'm in! Girls?" "I've always wanted to go on one of Kim's missions, believe it or not," I admitted. "I'm in too!" Wade turned to Bonnie, and so did Monique and myself. Sighing in defeat, she nodded in agreement. "Fine... I'll go along with this 'adventure,' but Kim's so gonna owe me for this." "Good, because it's time to go. I've already arranged a ride to Seņor Senior, Senior's island, located in the eastern part of the Atlantic Ocean." "You did?" Monique asked him. "With whom?" "Just look outside," Wade told us. The three of us looked at each other and ran out of the room. ====== Once outside, we saw a propeller plane landing in the courtyard. With it hovering in place about ten to fifteen feet up, we saw the pilot open the side door and throw down a hanging ladder for us to climb up on. "Alright!" I shouted enthusiastically. "Looks like we're climbing!" "No way!" Bonnie objected, pointing out the fact that she was wearing her cheerleading uniform. "I'm not climbing up there in a skirt!" "I've always wondered why Kim never complained about that," Monique whispered to me. Suddenly, I heard a cell phone ringing, playing a song of some sort. Monique pulled hers out of her pocket and answered it. "I almost forgot," came Wade's voice, as Monique's phone was on 'speakerphone.' "Check out the package by the front door of the school." "But there wasn't any..." I began to say, until the three of noticed that there was one there, even though there wasn't seconds ago. "How did you do that?" Bonnie asked. "Who cares how?" Monique said, running over. Bonnie and I joined Monique as she ripped the package open to reveal... three black tank tops and three pairs of cargo pants, neatly folded. Labeled with our names on the tags. And surprisingly... "They're exactly our size!" Monique gasped. Bonnie grabbed Monique's phone and started yelling into it. "Okay, you, tell me where you got our measurements from!" Wade quickly defended himself. "Uh... Kim told me. She had me do her Christmas shopping for you three last year while she was stuck in South America." "That's funny..." I noted. "I never told Kim my size." "Wait a minute," Bonnie jumped in again. "These clothes are so last year! I am not wearing this!" "Do what ya gotta do, girl," Monique smiled. "It's that, or the skirt." Bonnie sighed in resignation. "Fine. But if either of you tell Kim about this..." "No problem," Monique and I agreed out of mock fear. "That goes for you too, boy genius!" she told Wade. ====== [Fifteen minutes ago, somewhere over the Atlantic] The side door of the plane opened with us flying at 20,000 feet above sea level. I was getting an adrenaline rush from all of the air flowing into the back area where we had already strapped on our parachutes and were getting ready to jump. Well, I was anyway. Neither Monique or Bonnie seemed all that thrilled. "Okay, there's no way I jumping from this height!" Monique screamed. "Totally," Bonnie agreed. "My life insurance so doesn't cover this!" "She said it was safe!" I exclaimed, remembering the advice the pilot had given us. "Just jump, count to ten, then pull the cord and your parachute comes out! This is a piece of cake!" "There's no way I'm jumping out of this plane!" Monique reiterated, putting her foot down. "Does Kim want us to commit suicide or something?" Bonnie yelled. "Because that's what she's doing here, you know." "You two are such chickens!" I laughed as I pushed Bonnie out of the plane. "Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!" I quickly did the same to Monique, shoving her out just seconds later. Then, making sure they were clear of the plane, I jumped out, yelling happily as I began my descent to the ground. "This is so much more fun than playing computer games!" I shouted. After quickly taking the experience all in, I counted to ten and pulled the rip cord for my parachute. My fall slowed down rapidly, as I guided myself towards Monique. "Wasn't that fun?" I yelled to her, giddy. "Tell me when it's over," she replied back, not all that happy. "Anyone know how to land this thing?" we both heard Bonnie yell below. "Guess I'd better go help..." I said, steering my parachute towards her. ====== "Figures," Monique said, "The rich always seem to have the toughest security systems." We had just landed on the ground and ditched our chutes, and now we were contemplating just how we were going to get inside to stop the Seniors. "It'll be hard to stop this guy if we can't get in," I commented. "We're not spies, you know," Bonnie said, walking right towards the gate. "Bonnie, girl, what are you doing?" Monique asked in a panic. "Ringing the doorbell like any normal person!" Monique and I ran over to stop her, but it was too late. We got to her a split second after she had rang it, and we were 'rewarded' with a trap door opening underneath us. You can probably guess what happened next. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" we all screamed. ====== [Present Time] "Well, us three amateurs are going to break free and stop your evil scheme!" Monique shouted with defiance in her voice. "Did you say Kim Possible?" asked a second voice, younger than Senior. "Is my yellow trout here?" "How many times must I tell you, Junior!" retorted the elder. "No fraternizing with the enemy! It is forbidden in the rules of villainy!" "But father!" "Quiet! Don't you see we have guests?" After a second of silence, I heard Junior giggling loudly. "This is too good to be true, father! You have brought me three lovely ladies to court!" "Do we look like mail-order brides to you?" Monique shouted. "As if we're that desperate," I added. But Bonnie thought otherwise... "Lighten up, you two! After all... he is kinda cute." "You see, father?" I heard Junior exclaim. "They are entranced by my smashing good looks and sense of 'it' style." "Junior, if that is so, they why do I not see any of them asking you out?" "Ooh, ooh!" Bonnie shouted, trying to get their attention. "Promise to let me go, and I'll go steady with you. Besides, these two losers here don't have much of a chance anyway." "Hey!" Monique and I yelled in protest. I didn't like Bonnie's plan of attempting to save herself and only herself, so I began strategizing my own escape plan. Luckily, Senior seemed to be lecturing his son about why is wrong to date an enemy, so I could be assured his attention wasn't focused on me. ====== (Senior's POV) "Junior!" I said, whacking him on the head with my cane. "They are friends of Kim Possible! I forbid you to date any of them!" "Why do you do this to me, father?" Junior shouted back, to my surprise. "I can't date Kim Possible, I can't date her friends... do you not want to me to get down with a member of the opposite sex?" "Son, you must understand that I am not impeding you from dating and having fun with the ladies. But you must also realize that you must not associate with anyone that would jeopardize our plans for world domination!" "They are not our plans, father, they are your plans!" "Nonsense! I can't take over the world without you. For I am a simple old man, where as you are a youth, with plenty of energy to use that I could only dream of having! I need that in order for our plans to succeed. But they will not if you continually insist on hanging out with those who would oppose our..." I stopped upon hearing the trio of young captives chatting amongst themselves. Obviously, they were planning their escape. Not wanting to attract Kim Possible if at all possible, I decided that her friends were now more than expendable. ====== (Zita's POV) I began searching the room with my eyes, looking for some way for us to break free. It was then that I noticed the rope-and-pulley system that held us up in midair. I followed the ropes to the main control unit, and immediately realized getting over there to activate it was practically impossible. I then thought that maybe the old swing-and-break technique would work. The question was... could we do it without getting the Seniors' attention? "What are you looking for?" Monique asked me, breaking me out of my thoughts. "Some way to get out of this dungeon!" I replied. "Well, make it snappy..." Bonnie said, "my skin is starting to chafe. And you know I won't accept anything but perfection." "I'm afraid you have more important things to worry about than any mere skin condition," Senior said aloud, having turned his attention back to us. I heard several noises, then a feeling of movement. I looked down and noticed that he was lowering us... into his stream full of piranha! "Okay... anyone have any bright ideas?" Monique asked Bonnie and I. "We're going to bite the big one!" Bonnie screamed, in a panic. I would've kicked her... if I could move my legs. "Not helping at all here, Bonnie!" "Kim is so, so going to pay for this!" "Good luck trying to get her to fit the bill!" With no options left, we all squirmed and wiggled in an attempt to get out of our bonds and escape our perilous fate. But we were running out of time. And about to lose our lives. ****** Next week... the finale as Junior pines for love and Bonnie complains... a lot!
