(A log cabin appears in the background.) Tenchi: (VO) These men and women are... Roomies! (End theme song, with a picture of all 16 contestants standing with Flame Terminal behind them in the background.) = = = = = = = = = = Uncut Session 1 (03.07.03) Tenchi Masaki, the host of Roomies, stands inside of Flame Terminal. It is located in the Digital World, a place that is home to Digital Monsters, creatures big and small, good and evil, and cute and ugly. Tenchi: Welcome everyone! Sixteen anime characters are here in the Digital World, spending six weeks trying to earn money by winning challenges. Of course, the only way that they'll win the money is to earn their fellow player's trust. That's because the only way you can win the game is to be voted the winner. Tenchi walks over to the Trailmon platform. Tenchi: Eight days have passed so far in Digital Frontier, our third season of Roomies. Their journey in the Digiworld began here, but first they had to get here from the real world. Over the next half hour or so, you'll relive the first eight days of the game. And we'll start with the rush to get here. ====== 1-A: Tally says goodbye to her co-workers at the train station Inside one of Tokyo's train stations, Tally Onodera is currently buying her ticket to Shibuya Station. Behind her were Yamaki and Riley, her boss and co-worker, respectively. Yamaki: Good luck to you, Tally. Riley: Win it for all of the old Hypnos gang, girl! Tally: I'm especially going to win it for you two! Tally got her ticket and headed towards the turnstiles. Riley walked alongside her best friend, while Yamaki followed, carrying Tally's suitcases. Riley: Don't be too pushy, Tally. I've seen a whole lot of reality shows, and the person who bosses everyone else around never wins. Tally: I won't have to worry about that. I'm sure I'll get along fine with everyone. Yamaki: Remember... you're representing Hypnos and the entire city government. Don't embarrass us! Tally: I wouldn't dream of it. The trio reaches the turnstiles, where Tally must now go it on alone up to the platform. Yamaki puts Tally's suitcases down by her feet. Tally: (reaching over to hug Riley) See you in six weeks! Riley: (wrapping her arms around Tally) Good luck! Tally then went over to hug Yamaki. Tally: You're not going to miss me, are you? Yamaki: Of course not. We'll get along fine without you. Tally: (as she lets go of him) I know you will. You and Riley work well together. Tally picked up her suitcases and turned to walk to the platform. Yamaki and Riley wave goodbye to her. Riley: Don't forget to drop us an e-mail every once in awhile to let us know how you're doing! Tally: (shouting back) I will! ====== 1-B: Yusuke meets Trunks for the first time After a wild ride in the elevator falling down from Shibuya Station, Yusuke Urameshi emerges from the shaft, coughing up dust as he carries out his luggage bags. Yusuke: What the hell was that? I could've died! Again! Yusuke glances around and finds himself in the middle of a train hub. Waiting on one set of train tracks is a brown-colored train. Just outside one of the cars stands Trunks Briefs, waiting patiently for someone to show up. Trunks: (shouting) About time! It would be a bummer if I were the only one here! Yusuke: (walking away) Hey kid! What are you doing here? Trunks: What do you think I'm doing here? I'm here to participate in the Roomies reality series! Yusuke: So am I! Wait, wait... why are they allowing a kid like you go? Trunks: I earned my spot on this show! They thought that I'd be perfect for this season's cast! Yusuke: A little kid like you? You don't stand a chance! Trunks: And what makes you think you're better than I am? I'm a Super Saiyan, and trust me... no one beats a Super Saiyan! The two of them glare angrily at each other before calming down and deciding to just flat out ignore each other until someone else showed up. ====== 1-C: All eyes on Amy Rose upon her arrival in Tokyo Pushing a cart with a large bag on it, a pink hedgehog wearing a red dress caught almost everyone's eyes as she made her way outside, where she could catch a cab to Shibuya Station. Amy R.: Whoa... this place is awesome! I've never been in such a big place before! Amy Rose is now standing outside as she flags down a taxi. Amy R.: I hope the city of Tokyo is as wonderful as I've heard. The taxi driver steps out to open the trunk, but steps back in shock when he sees Amy for the first time. Taxi Driver: (looking at Amy) Whoa! What the heck are you? Amy R.: What? You've never seen a hedgehog before? Taxi Driver: Not one that could walk and talk! Amy R.: Look buddy, I'm sure your amazed, but I have to get to Shibuya Train Station! Taxi Driver: (turning around) Whatever. As long as you don't spouting gibberish. After the driver loads Amy's bags into the trunk, she gets into the back seat. Amy R.: Shibuya Train Station, please! And step on it! The taxi then pulls away from the cab loading area of the airport. ====== Tenchi: The trip to the Digiworld was a bumpy one, but a necessary one nevertheless. But that was only the first of several surprises that this season's cast would experience on day one. The second was the limit of belongings they could have here. And the third... was having their first challenge right off the bat. Let's take a look at one team preparing for it. ====== 1-D: Team Poké plots for the game's first challenge James: (pointing at Whitney) Why do I have to work with you? Whitney: The feeling's mutual, but we have to do what we have to do! Trowa: You two had better be willing to put aside your feelings, or we won't stand a chance. Whitney: I'm willing, (glares at James) as long as he is. James: I'm here for the money, and I'll do whatever it takes to win it! Nabiki: (pumping her fist in the air) That's what we're here for the money! Whitney: Yes! The money! Trowa: I can see I'm in greedy company. Nabiki: You mean you're not in it for the money? Trowa: Nope. Just for the experience. James: (laughs) What kind of fool participates in a game just for that? Whitney: There's nothing wrong with that. We all have our reasons. But to achieve our goal, we'll need to get through this challenge. James: (holding up the map) Just remember that I'm the leader! Whitney: (rolls her eyes) What idiot made that decision? Nabiki: Whitney! Give James a chance! Whitney: (turning to face Nabiki) If you knew how much of an evil person he is in real life, you wouldn't give him a chance either! Trowa: A person is only evil if he or she believes himself to be evil and is seen by others as so. James: See, Whitney? I'm not evil! Whitney: (under her breath) You're just not willing to admit it. Trowa: I think we need to concentrate on this challenge right now. (to James) Let's see the map. James unrolls the map for his teammates to look at. They note where the targets are as they come up with a strategy. Trowa: We'll split up. James will go after the one to the northwest, Whitney and Nabiki will head for the one up north, and I'll get the one northeast. James: Hey! I'm the leader, so I come up with the battle strategies! Whitney: Then strategize away, oh great leader! James: Fine! James tries to think of a strategy. He then comes up with one. James: We'll all split up! I'll go after this X, Trowa after that one, and you two girls can take this one! Nabiki: But that's the exact same plan Trowa suggested! Whitney: I told you he's not cut out to be leader! Trowa: We don't have time to argue! Let's just go with 'James's' plan, because it's time. The group glanced over to the starting line, where Tenchi is waving the teams to him. Nabiki: We're gonna win this challenge! I'm sure of it! ====== Tenchi is outside Flame Terminal and is now in the Pagumon Village. Tenchi: As you all remember, Team Poké went on to finish last out of the four teams. The winners of that challenge were Team Moon and Team Digi. The MVP of each team would get the game's first prize... a thousand dollars in spending money. The prize went to Trunks, for his super strength, and Tally, for her great leadership. The sun is setting behind Tenchi in the sky. Tenchi: The Digiworld is different at night, as one of the Roomies found out that first night at the campsite. ====== 1-E: Yugi goes out exploring Yugi has decided, unwisely, to wander away from the fun and excitement of camp after dinner. He has instead decided to do some exploring, while there's still a little bit of light in the sky. Yugi: (to the camera) I don't know why I'm doing this, but maybe I'm just interested to see what we may be up against in this strange world. Yugi wanders around for a little while, as the light of the campfire disappears from behind. The noises of his fellow campmates are replaced by the sounds of the nature and wild Digimon crying in the night. ???????: (creepily) Go away! Yugi: Huh? Hey! Who's there? ???????: Go away! Leave this place! Yugi started to look around him as he began to get a little frightened. ???????: Go before we eat you! Yugi: Eat me? What are you? ???????: We said go! Go! The wind started to blow really hard, convincing Yugi just enough to flee back to the safety of the campsite. ???????: Never trespass in our forest again! ====== Tenchi, now standing just outside the campsite. In the background, several of the Roomies are hard at work, putting things together. Tenchi: Yugi found out that going into the forest alone at night is a bad idea. Maybe that helped influenced him the following morning to choose Guilmon. Of course, maybe he just did that to avoid having to train Biyomon, a female Pokémon. Who knows? Tenchi starts heading off in the direction of the Challenge Field, which is not too far away from the campsite. Tenchi: Day two would bring the game's second challenge. I dropped another surprise on the group, telling them that the Digimon would be used in a challenge much later on. Instead, their physical and mental limits were put to the test, as they tried to hold onto a rising girder while strapped to the ground for as long as possible. Obviously, some people had doubts about if they could do it. ====== 2-A: Pre-Challenge jitters lead to confessionals Amy M.: (CC) I really don't think I have the physical strength to be competitive in this challenge. Tally: (CC) Something tells me I'm going to be aching for the rest of the day after this. Yugi: (CC) Do we really have to do this? It's not that I'm scared or anything... I'll hold on for as long as I have to. But I seem to be at a distinct disadvantage because of my height! Trowa: (CC) I'm wishing I didn't skip out on dinner last night now. Jet is looking at his team and attempting to decide who should be the distractors. After awhile, he comes to a decision. Jet: I think that the two Amys should sit out. No offense girls, but I don't believe that you have the strength. Amy M.: That's fine by me. Just win it for us! Amy R.: (smiling) Yeah! And we'll do our best to distract the other team! Trunks, on the other hand, has a different strategy for his team. Trunks: (pointing to Rini and Takuya) You two won't be strapped in. Rini/Takuya: Us? Trunks: Yeah. The team didn't seem happy with Trunks' decision, and they were going to make their voices known. ====== Tenchi: The purple team got out to an early lead in the challenge, but with Jet on the black team, it was all a matter of not losing concentration and holding on long enough to force his opponents out. The black team won the challenge... and they got a bonus to boot. The ability to move indoors after spending one night under the stars. The cabin is shown in the background, where activity can be seen inside. Tenchi: When you win challenges, everyone on that team seems to be happy. Consequently, when you're on the losing side, things aren't as pleasant. ====== 2-B: Yusuke vents about Whitney... (PG-13 scene) At the campsite, Nabiki is seen pulling Whitney away from Yusuke, effectively ending the scuffle between the two of them that had developed shortly after the 'winning team' had left for their reward. Trowa: (approaching Yusuke) You know, yelling at her isn't going to get you anywhere. Yusuke: Well, she started it! Trowa: You're not going to get anywhere at this rate. Yusuke: So? She's annoying the heck out of me! Trowa: Just stay away from her. We're all disappointed about losing, but don't take it out on her. Yusuke: (mocking Whitney's voice) I complain because I care! (in his regular voice) What kind of bullshit is that? Trowa: That's no way to talk about a lady. Yusuke: A lady? She's anything about a lady! She's so uptight for a lady! Look at her chest... it just screams uptight! Trowa: That's DEFINITELY no way to talk about a lady. You need to stop this. Yusuke: I'm sorry, but I just can stand bitchy women! Always telling you that you should've done this, or it's better to do that. She reminds me so much of Keiko! Trowa: Keiko? A friend of yours? Yusuke: Since childhood. She thinks that 'cause she's class president that I have to listen to every piece of advice she gives me. Trowa: If you've known her for that long, then there must be something special between you two. Yusuke: (calming down) Well, yeah. Keiko and I are really close. (getting angry) But we're talking about Whitney here! Not Keiko! Trowa: Who's to say Whitney's kind of like Keiko. Yusuke: I'd never believe that. Never in a million years. Trowa: Maybe you should apologize to her. Yusuke: Apologize? To her? Trowa: At least make it look as if you are sorry. Otherwise, you two will be at each other's throats for six weeks, and then it'll be uncomfortable for everyone whenever we see the both of you going at it! Yusuke: (giving in) Fine. But I'm doing this for the good of everyone. NOT because I'm giving in to her. ====== 2-C: ...And now Whitney takes out her frustration Nabiki: (pulling Whitney over to the crate of food) Do you have a death wish or something? Whitney: I'm not afraid of Yusuke! He thinks he's so cool by pointing out the obvious! Nabiki: We've barely been here a whole day and you're already picking a fight with him! That doesn't bode too well for the rest of us. I mean, we all have to live with each other for six weeks. Whitney: I don't want to argue with the guy, but he's so stubborn! He even questions my decisions! I understand if my decisions were bad ones... but mine could have won us the challenge! Nabiki: None of us agreed with Trunks' decisions, and maybe your idea could have won the challenge. But what's done is done... we can't change it. The two young women begin going through the crate's contents, picking out something to cook for lunch. The next time Whitney looked up, she spotted Yusuke and Trowa walking towards her. Whitney: Here he comes... let me handle this! Nabiki pulls her head out of the crate. Nabiki: Oh boy... Yusuke: Whitney! Whitney: You have something to say to me? Seeing Yusuke and Whitney staring each other down once again was enough to attract the rest of the campers (Rini, Takuya, Tally, and Trunks) to the scene. Yusuke: Look... I'm sorry about arguing with you, so why don't we just make up and start all over again? Whitney: I don't know. You don't look like the type of person to drop a grudge just like that. Nabiki: (whispering in Whitney's ear) Death wish, death wish! Whitney: (shooing Nabiki away) Okay, okay! (to Yusuke) Okay, I'm in agreement. Let's just put this all behind us! Yusuke and Whitney shake hands, much to everyone's relief. The group then disperses... Yusuke heads back to his tent, while Whitney resumes helping Nabiki prepare lunch. Yusuke: (CC) Did you see that? She wasn't willing to forgive me! She'd better hope I don't get her alone... or it's WHAM! Whitney: (CC) I can already tell he won't forgive me no matter what I do. So what's the use of giving a full apology if he's blowing me off anyway? ====== Tenchi: Luckily, things calmed down at camp and the rest of the day went by without a hitch. A temporary truce between Yusuke and Whitney was the best the group could hope for for the moment. Tenchi brings out a hat filled with poker chips. Tenchi: Day Three brought forth a third challenge. For the first time, it would be a roommate challenge. But there were no assigned roommates this season, so the process was completely random. Would everyone agree who they were paired with? ====== 2-D: Finding out who your 'roommate' is Each of the Roomies reached into Tenchi's hat, pulling out one poker chip apiece. Roommates were decided by who had the same colored chips. Some match-ups proved to be natural. But some... Keith: I'm stuck with the runt? Rini: (angrily) I'm not a runt! Keith: I want another roommate! This was one's too puny! Haruka draws a green chip from the hat, as Yusuke immediately notices. Yusuke: What? I'm roommates with her! But... she's old! Haruka: Wouldn't you be glad to be partnered up with a woman? Yusuke: Not one that looks as old as my mom! Amy Mizuno and Rally hold up their orange chips to each other. Rally: I guess that makes us teammates. Amy M.: Yeah... I guess so. James: (pumping his fist in excitement) I drew the strongest guy in the lot! Jet: Why are you so excited? It's not like we're actually rooming together. James: No. But with you around, I can't possibly lose! Ee-he-he-he! ====== Tenchi: Fourteen former Roomies joined us for the game's first roommate challenge, surprisingly won by the team of Yusuke and Haruka. Who'd have thought of them be the first winners? Behind Tenchi, a scene of some of the Roomies switching living quarters can be seen. Tenchi: As you know by now, how you place in each challenge determines if you'll spend the next couple of days in the cabin or at the campsite. It's everyone's dream to be indoors rather than outdoors... but someone's got suffer, sad to say. Guilmon and Gatomon are wandering around behind Tenchi. Tenchi: Although Guilmon and Gatomon have been introduced, we'll get to more of them later. Right now, let's move to Night Four, where Rini becomes the second Roomie to experience the Digiworld wildlife. ====== 3-A: Do not feed the Digimon if you value your life Rini, Amy M., and Takuya had decided to split up, in hopes of gathering more firewood that way. Rini had only a few small sticks in hand when she was confronted by a bunch of gray-skinned bouncing-head Digimon named Pagumon. Rini: Wow! Digimon! Pagumon: Who are you? Go away! Rini: Why? Pagumon: Because we don't want humans around here! Rini suddenly gets a bright idea, as she puts her sticks down and reaches into her pocket. Rini: I'm not going to hurt you. See? She pulls out a small plastic bag of cookies. She empties the bag's contents, leaving about four or five on the ground for the Pagumon to gobble up. Which they did very quickly, by the way. Rini: (giggles happily) I come in peace! Honest! The Pagumon seemed to enjoy the cookies, but they were by no means satisfied. Pagumon: Do you have more? Rini: Not on me. Sorry. The Pagumon, which numbered almost a dozen, huddled for a few seconds, debating what to do. Then, without warning, they leaped at Rini to attack. Pagumon: We want more! Rini: (trying to bat them away) Ow! Okay! Let me go back to camp! Pagumon: WE WANT THEM NOW! A few of them tried to bite Rini, all barely missing taking a chunk out of her arms and legs. With no way to defend herself, Rini tries to run away as fast as she can. Rini: Get away from me! (yelling into the night) Help! Someone! Everyone at the campsite had heard Rini's pleas for help. But only Takuya and Amy M. were close enough to do anything about it as they race to the scene. ====== Tenchi: Maybe we should've warned the Roomies to not feed the wild Digimon. I guess they know better now. Anyway, we all know Rini got through without getting bitten, thanks to Amy and Takuya... or should I say Sailor Mercury and Agunimon. Who would've thought they had the power to transform? Tenchi is walking back towards the village, keeping an eye out for wild Pagumon in the process. Tenchi: At least for now, their secrets stay secret. Good thing too, because the next challenge would test the group's physical, mental, and emotional... yes, emotional... capabilities. ====== 3-B: Let's make a deal Nabiki: (calling to Trunks) Yoo-hoo, Trunks! Can I speak to you for a minute? As Trunks stops to hear Nabiki out (seeing as how he's got all the time in the world anyway), the rest of the teams scramble to find their first Digimon. Trunks: What do you want? Nabiki: Slow down! Give me a chance to keep up! Trunks: Why should I? Nabiki: I promise to let you win a challenge if you give me a chance! I'm just trying to prove to everyone that I'm useful and just as good as some of the better athletes. Like you. Trunks: (waving her off) I don't know. Nabiki: Think about... I'm still letting you get the prize. Just let me keep it. Trunks: Hmmm... how about two challenges? Nabiki: You little... no! Win one challenge. Take it or leave it! Otherwise, no deal! Trunks: Fine! (shaking hands with her) But you owe me, big time! A deal seemingly completed, the two go their separate ways. Trunks resumes his search, though at a speed that's fairer to his competition, and Nabiki begins hers in earnest. ====== 3-C: Evening the playing field As the challenge continues, all of the runners seem to be rushing around, trying to find all of the caricatures. There's one exception to the rule. It's Trunks... and Amy Mizuno, his teammate, isn't happy about that. Amy M.: (watching Trunks) What is he doing? I know he can run faster than that! Rini, her fellow showmate, but Nabiki's teammate in this challenge, comments as well. Rini: It looks like he's stalling time. Maybe he wants to make the race a bit closer. Amy M.: But that's not how you win the prize! They both watch as Keith seems to be having an easy time finding the caricatures. Rini is ecstatic that Nabiki is not that far behind him. Keith: (kneeling down to pick up a Tentomon) Ha! That's seven! Keith runs back to Yugi with a Tentomon and a Gatomon in hand. Amy watches in dismay as Rini's teammate Nabiki is climbing down from a tree with a Palmon, a Patamon, and a Gabumon cradled within her arms. Amy M.: Come on, Trunks! As Keith and Nabiki search for the eighth and final caricature, Gomamon, Trunks finds Tentomon, his seventh, and brings it back to his teammate. Amy M.: (taking the Tentomon) About time. Amy went to work arranging the ones she had, perfectly remembering the placements of the caricatures. All that was left was to get the Gomamon. Amy M.: (CC) Trunks seems to be the fastest person here... so how can he be behind both Bandit Keith and Nabiki? It doesn't make any sense. ====== Tenchi: It makes perfect sense. Of course, Trunks was still expecting to come from behind and win the challenge. But Nabiki wasn't willing to let that happen, especially with her advantage. That created a bit of an argument between the two later on. We'd better keep an eye on those two to make sure the friction doesn't develop any further. Tenchi holds up caricatures of Gatomon and Guilmon. Tenchi: Remember when I said we'd be getting back to these two? Well, here we go. On day six, Trowa, Takuya, Nabiki, and Tally crossed paths while wandering off to train their Digimon. They decided that instead of separating that they should have a practice battle to see where their Digimon stood. ====== 4-A: Guilmon vs. Gatomon - Round 1 Tally and Nabiki stood ready with Guilmon, while on the other side of the field, Gatomon prepared for battle as Takuya and Trowa were beside her. Tally: We don't want to injure the Digimon. This is just a test to see which one is the strongest right now. Takuya: First one to fall to his or her foot loses? Trowa: Those seem like favorable conditions. Nabiki: Alright! Tally: Ready to go, Guilmon? Guilmon: Ready! Trowa: Gatomon? Gatomon: Yep! Nabiki/Trowa: Digimon Battle... Tally/Takuya: Begin! Gatomon immediately charges at Guilmon, looking to take him out in one shot. Takuya: Gatomon, wait! Trowa: (to Takuya) Rushing into things won't do us any good. Takuya: Don't you think I know that! Tally: Guilmon, dodge the attack! Guilmon successfully dodged Gatomon's opening attack, but the feline Digimon wasn't quitting that easily. Gatomon: Lightning Paw! Gatomon flies at Guilmon with a flurry of punches. Guilmon, with no idea of what to do, just tries to avoid getting hit. Nabiki: Guilmon! Guilmon: (looking at Nabiki) Yes? That was the distraction Gatomon needed. With one powerful sock to the lower jaw, Gatomon sent the dinosaur Digimon flying off his feet and to the ground. Nabiki: (shaking her head) You're not to supposed to look at me when I call you! Especially in battle! Takuya: We won? We won! Yippee! That was easy! Trowa: But how? Takuya: Does it matter? We won, and that's what's important! Tally: (scratching her head) Why isn't this Guilmon as strong as Takato's? Maybe we haven't trained it enough? Nabiki: I don't get it. Didn't Yusuke and Trunks teach it to fight the other day? Tally: Who knows what they did with him? (points at Takuya) Besides, Trunks is on Takuya's team, not ours. Takuya: (walking over) You girls didn't put up much of a fight. Tally: Only because we haven't had time to unlock Guilmon's potential. Takuya: All I know is that if this was the real challenge right here, we would've won easily! Trowa: But it doesn't mean that we'll win the next time. Takuya: What do you mean? Gatomon creamed Guilmon! Trowa: Yes, but with an attack that we knew nothing about. Plus, Gatomon attacked without any orders. She was out of our control. We need to fix that. Takuya: I guess. Nabiki: And we need to figure out Guilmon's attacks. Or we really won't stand a chance come the day of the challenge. Tally: Agreed. At least we learned a lot from this match. The foursome nodded. They then proceeded to provide advice for their Digimon. ====== Tenchi is now holding an umbrella as rain is falling from the sky... and onto the camera lens. Tenchi: Happiness wouldn't last long, as the first rainstorm since the group arrived here settled in over the campsite and the cabin. Luckily, there was no damage done by the thunder and lightning, and everyone made it through without a scratch. Once the weather cleaned up, Washu helped me deliver new supplies... and a washer and dryer so that the cast could make themselves look decent. Tenchi is now standing on the cliff where Nabiki, Yusuke, and Guilmon were in Episode 5. Tenchi: But some people didn't want to wash clothes. They wanted to take care of other duties. Nabiki wanted to train Guilmon to be agile and learn more about Yusuke's intentions, now that they're allied. But the talk ends up turning into something else... ====== 5-A: Yusuke listens to Nabiki's backstory Yusuke: Since when did YOU know so much about fighting? Nabiki: Let's just say it has something to do with the company I keep. Yusuke: (scratching his head) Hey, wait a sec, what did you mean by that? Nabiki: Hmmm? Yusuke: You said you knew someone who threw punches and kicks like I could and just as well. How do you know so much about fighting? Nabiki: (smiles) Considering how long I've lived around it, it's no surprise. I may not be a fighter, but almost everyone I know is one. Yusuke: (unbelieving) Really? Nabiki: Yep. Take Ranma for example. The guy is amazing: athletic, agile, strong, fast, can endure a lot... he is pretty much someone who can hold his own against anyone... (thinks for a second) maybe not Trunks, but I didn't say that. Yusuke: He's that good? Nabiki: Yes, but it gets to his head a bit. He believes that he's unbeatable. A bit too full of bravado, especially around his fiance, my little sis. Although his curse is always a good idea to steal a few yen from Kuno-baby... Yusuke: Curse? And engaged? Please, what a pansy... Nabiki: Considering the amount of beatings he gets from her, I wouldn't say that. (chuckles) Akane isn't... the most patient of people, and when they first met, he pretty much outclassed her in martial arts. The heir to the Anything-Goes School of Martial Arts is a bit hopeless, although she is getting better. But she's still pretty much outclassed by almost everyone I know... (to camera) Cut that part out so she doesn't hear that. Yusuke: Your sis is violent and angry? The complete opposite of you, Miss Ice Queen. Nabiki: No, that would be Shampoo, a Chinese Amazon who also has her claws on Ranma. Amazing agility and strength, which kinda infruiates Akane a lot, but... she's kinda dumb. And then you've got Kuno-baby, someone in his own invincibility, or at least he thinks he is, no matter how many times Ranma has destroyed him, he still thinks he's unbeatable... his ego is worse than Ranma, and even more stupid, I can't believe he still doesn't believe that Ranma and the 'pig-tailed girl' are the same person... Yusuke: Excuse me, I think you've lost me... Nabiki: OH yeah, I forgot about the curse. Nabiki whisperes in Yusuke's ear, as the warrior snickers a bit and then laughs out loud... ====== 5-B: Ever thought of being in commercials? Whitney is in the process of milking Milty, her Miltank, as Yugi looks on. Whitney: (nods) Remember that tin of cookies Rini got when we filled out our 'Wish List?' Yugi: Yeah, I remember. Whitney: (winks) Well, you can't have cookies without milk, can you? Yugi: (as Whitney pulled the contraption off of Milty) What now? Whitney: Get two of the coffee mugs from the crates and lets see if this milk is drinkable. Yugi ran over to the crates and returned with the mugs in hand. Taking the now full jug of milk, she poured half a cup into each mug. Yugi: If your uncle milks Miltank all the time, then you should know if the milk comes out right. Whitney: There's always the probability that something will go wrong. Besides, this is the first time I'm trying the portable version, so I'm not sure if it works well or not. Whitney takes her mug and lifts it up to her mouth. She takes a sip and is instantly on cloud nine afterwards. Whitney: It's absolutely perfect! Yugi: (about to drink from his mug) Let me taste. Yugi too instantly got the same reaction... in his own way. Yugi: I never knew milk could be so good! Whitney: You should drink a lot more, you know. You're short for your age. Yugi: Pardon? Whitney: (laughs) I'm kidding! The two continue to drink from their mugs, finishing in mere seconds. Both of them are happily prancing about with white mustaches on their face. Whitney: Milk! It does a body good! Yugi: (raising his mug) Got milk? The two of them then laugh hilarously as they gather themselves and head back over to camp. Whitney: I can't wait to see how everyone reacts when they taste Miltank milk for the first time! Yugi: Me neither! It'll knock their socks off! Whitney: Ever thought of a career in commercials? You'd be perfect for the ones in which they have a puny kid grow into a strong adult! Yugi: Whitney! Enough with the short jokes! Whitney: (trying to contain her laughter) I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I can't help myself! Yugi: (smiling) You know... you could use some yourself. Yugi raised his hand to show Whitney what he meant. After all, Yugi, as short as he was, still was as tall as Whitney's shoulders. Whitney: (laughs again) I guess I deserved that one, didn't I? The two then laugh as everyone in camp shoots them looks of confusion. Yugi: You guys should really try Miltank milk! It's g-g-g-great! Jet: And become as carefree as you two? No way! The rest of the group laughs as they gather around the campfire for cookies and milk. ====== Tenchi: Whitney and Yugi would make good milk salespeople, wouldn't they? Whew... anyway, our last scene in this session clears up a mystery that ended Episode 5 in a cliffhanger. This is also revealed in Episode 6, so feel free to skip over this if you want. For the rest of you... ====== 5-C: Be careful with that shirt Amy Mizuno had piled the clean laundry that had already been done in piles just inside the cabin, right by the front door. Currently on top of one of the piles was a black T-shirt that belonged to Yusuke. Suddenly, someone reached into the pile, thinking the shirt belonged to him. It happened to be James, who was trying to slip it over his head. James: (tugging hard) Come on, you stupid T-shirt! Come down! It did begin to come down... tearing a circular hole in the middle of it in the process. The shirt's neck was actually a bit small for James, resulting in the tear. James: (looking around to see if someone saw him) Uh oh. Before anyone noticed his action, James had already refolded the shirt and stuffed it deep within the piles of clean laundry. He then whistled loudly as he strutted off. ====== Tenchi: (shaking his head) That explains how the hole got in Yusuke's shirt. The question is... what will he do when he finds out James is responsible for making the hole? Stay tuned to find out! Episode 6 is next up, so we'll see what happens. Until next time, this is Tenchi Masaki, signing off! ==================== End Uncut Session One ==================== ================== Additional Author's Notes ================== And so ends the first Uncut Session.
