The crook gets away as the bank employees call the sheriff. - 7:53 a.m. - Sheriff and his deputy arrive on the scene to begin questioning and investigation process. - 7:55 a.m. - Local newspaper reporter and photographer arrive. By now, everyone in town is aware of what has happened and is gathering around the scene. - 8:11 a.m. - During their inspection of the crime scene, sheriff and deputy hear cries from several citizens, claming that someone has stolen items from them. The items are: a disguise kit, pom poms, a red haired wig, and a silver medal. - 8:58 a.m. - Sheriff and deputy complete inspection of all four theft crime scenes and return to the bank, where the mayor waits for them. Mayor announces that the town is in lockdown and that no one will be allowed to enter or leave the town without permission from her. - 9:21 a.m. - Sheriff and deputy complete investigation at bank and head back to HQ. They then begin to make several phone calls to the mayor's house as they discuss how to go about questioning the populace. - 10:00 a.m. - Things, for the most part, return to normal as the law enforcement begins inquiry to the townspeople. - 5:04 p.m. - The lead actress on a movie set disappears during a break in filming and cannot be found. - 5:09 p.m. - Law enforcement stops their investigation to try and find the missing actress. - 5:13 p.m. - Two items are found missing on the movie set: the director's black sunglasses and a reel of film. Questioning begins among all of the movie staff, but the thief is not found. - 8:00 p.m. - The thief is still at-large after more than 12 hours, as the sheriff ends questioning for the night. - Monday, October 21st, 2002, 9:15 a.m. - Sheriff and deputy resume inquiry of townspeople, 25 hours after the bank had been robbed. There are no new leads on the case. - 9:51 a.m. - The girl next door finds the cheerleader holding a stack of cash. The two get into a fight which leads them into the nearby ditch, in which the cheerleader twists her ankle. - 10:01 a.m. - Sheriff and deputy arrive on the scene and take both girls into custody: the girl next door for assault and the cheerleader for all of the recent thefts. Cheerleader denies involvement in those events, but is put in the town's lone jail cell anyway. - 10:14 a.m. - Sheriff and deputy tell the mayor that the case is closed and that people may be allowed to travel in and out of town freely once again. A traveller who had been stuck in town immediately walks out. - 10:35 a.m. - It's been nearly 18 hours since the movie actress disappeared, as the camerawoman tips off the sheriff to a pile of belongings she found 1/4th of a mile south of town. All of the stolen belongings are inside, except for the missing actress and the money that had been stolen from the bank. - 10:52 a.m. - All of the stolen materials are returned to their rightful owners and the deputy begins to question the camerawoman. Meanwhile, the sheriff puts together a search party to not only look for the missing actress, but to track down the traveller, the only person to leave town in the past half hour (other than the camerawoman). The search party consists of the sheriff, the reporter, the photographer, and the wrestler. - 11:08 a.m. - Close to three miles south out of town, the search party, riding on stagecoach, finds the traveler. The traveler claims his innocence and pleads them to let him go, for he is already behind schedule. But the party won't let him go, not wanting to risk a possible suspect getting away. The traveler reluctantly agrees to go back to town and remain there until the investigation is complete. - 11:30 a.m. - Upon the return of the party, the mayor locks down the city once again. The entire town is questioned once again by the sheriff and his deputy. - 10:00 p.m. - More than 36 hours after the bank was robbed, the money and the movie actress are still missing. The sheriff and deputy think there's somebody in town who knows something, but he or she is not talking. - 11:50 p.m. - After a long period of consultation with the mayor, it is agreed that they should summon outside help. They begin contacting detectives-for-hire agencies to find someone to help solve their mystery. - Wednesday, October 23rd, 2002, 12:00 p.m. - Ten young individuals are hired to find the missing movie actress and locate the stolen bank money. The game begins...
