Adventures Series, Season 1 Uncut Special (Version 1.1), "Left on the Cutting Room Floor" Hello everyone! Freedom Fighter here with the long awaited "Adventures Series" season one recap special. Entitled "Left on the Cutting Room Floor," this fanfic contains a collection of scenes that weren't published with the original scripts. I hope you all enjoy it. Disclaimer: Most of the characters in this fanfic don't belong to me; I am just using them because "Pokémon" is one of my favorite shows. Cassie, TJ, Arius, Patti, Pauly, Sally, Days, Biff, and anyone else that doesn't sound too familiar to you unless you're a regular reader of this series, belongs to me. A few characters are also in this fanfic for a special reason; that is explained at the end of the fanfic. Author's Warning: This fanfic is rated PG-13 due to some intense scenes. I'm talking about battles, for those of you who are thinking otherwise. Also, I attempted to make this fanfic crazy and a little out of control, so I apologize ahead of time if a character seems to be acting out of his or her regular personality. Also note that this fanfic was done all in good taste, and none of the events, no matter how crazy they may be, bear no effects on past, present, or future stories for the "Adventures Series." That is, I think... ******************************************************************************** Adventures Series, Season 1 Uncut Special "Left on the Cutting Room Floor" Story written by Freedom Fighter ******************************************************************************** Narrator: (in a spooky voice) The Indigo Plateau. Three hundred and sixty five days a year, this one lone place is the home to the famous Indigo Stadium, used to show off the small group of humans who are members of the Pokémon League. These humans are called Pokémon trainers. They control a variety of monsters, which come in an assortment of different types. There are 151 in all, many more than that undocumented throughout the world. Sometimes, though, the trainers and the Pokémon have more on their mind then battles between each other. Other factors in their lives are present in order to smack them back into reality. But is this really reality, or just a close facsimile? And why do some of these factors stay hidden from the world? Close your eyes, imagine a place filled with joy... and then forget it. Why? Because you're about to enter the zone full of things "left on the cutting room floor." Suddenly, Lily appears on the set, frightened over what she's just heard. Lily: The zone full of things "left on the cutting room floor?" You mean the place where a fanfic author dives into his or her notes and reveals everything that didn't make it to the final script? Narrator: In a nutshell, yes. Lily: Well, I'm not going to stick around and get embarrassed. Call me when Misty leaves for the Novice Tournament. She heads over to a red door, and pulls on the doorknob. A trap door opens up underneath her, and she falls into it. Lily: (screaming as she falls) You'll hear from my lawyer about this! The trap door then closes as Lily descends into the darkness below. Suddenly, the Astounding Mandy appears, also panic-stricken. Mandy: You're crazy! Who hired you as the narrator anyway? No response. Mandy: That's it, I'm out of here! He walks towards that same red door, and opens it from the side, away from where the trap door panel is. Another door lies behind the first. He opens it, and there's another door. And so on, and so on, and so on, and so on, and... well, you get the idea. He then breaks out in tears. The camera then moves to the other side of the room, where all of the other characters are witnessing all of this. Narrator: Now... does anyone else want to try and leave? The crowd responds by quickly shaking their heads left and right several times. Narrator: Good. Let's get started. In our first scene, three young men find themselves lost on an island. Seems strange, since the island has easy-to follow maps available at every single city. But luck holds against these three, and a certain yellow mouse, as they come very close to jumping off the cliff of insanity thanks to a wild Voltorb... until one young lady saves their lives... sort of... *** Friday, February 25th, Island Route 2, Buzzpar Island [A] TJ: How much longer until we get to the next town? I'm starving! Ash: Starving? (his stomach grumbles while a sweatdrop forms above his right eye) Now that you mention it, it is starting to get close to lunchtime. TJ: Already? It feels like we've only been walking for an hour. Brock: According to the sun, though, it looks like it's near its apex for the day. Ash: How do you know that? Brock: My father used to study astronomy before he left on his Pokémon journey. TJ: I'm sure that story about your dad is good, but I'm dying here! Brock: Guys, leave that to me! I'll whip up a masterpiece you'll never forget! Brock stops along the side of the road, and pulls almost anything a cook on the road could need that you can imagine, and begins to fix up a meal. TJ: (whispers to Ash) Hey, Ash! Ash: (whispering back) What's up? TJ: (whispering) Just how good is Brock at cooking? Ash: (whispering) Real good. Don't worry, he's the best cook in the world! He's never let me down for a meal before. Besides, if he poisons you, I can always get him sent off to jail. The two giggle like little schoolgirls at the thought, which grabs Brock's attention. Brock: What are you two laughing about? Ash: Nothing, Brock. TJ: Hey, Ash! Ash: Now what? TJ: Where's Pikachu? Ash has just realized that Pikachu has wandered off. Ash: Pi-ka-chu, where are you? I've always wanted to do that! TJ: You mean sound like a scruffy, food-crazed teenager looking for his similarly talented dog? Ash: Yeah! I saw it in a show. TJ: Neato! Ash: Anyway, we've got to find Pikachu! Not too far away, Pikachu is walking in the woods, unknown that he's no longer with Ash or the others. In fact, Pikachu is sensing something strange. Pikachu: Pika pika? Pikachu! Pikachu spots the object... a Voltorb that is stuck between a grouping of rocks. Pikachu: Pika? Voltorb: Voltorb! Pikachu: Pika pika chu pika pika. Pi pika, pi pikachu! Voltorb: Voltorb! Pikachu runs back out of the woods, and spots Ash and the others. Pikachu: (yelling) Pika! Ash: (turning towards Pikachu) Pikachu! Am I glad to see you! Pikachu: (points to where it came from) Pika pika! TJ: I think Pikachu is trying to say something! Ash: What is it, Pikachu? Pikachu: (motions for Ash to follow) Pika! Ash: You want me to follow you, Pikachu? Pikachu: Pikachu! Ash: (runs off) Okay! TJ: Wait, I'm coming with you! Brock: Don't run off too far, you three! (then begins to think) I'm starting to talk like my mother. (begins to think dreamily) That reminds me, I just thought about how beautiful Mrs. Ketchum is. I wonder if she'd go out on a date with me... In a matter of moments, Ash and TJ catch up and find Pikachu next to a Voltorb. Ash: Say, isn't that a Voltorb? TJ: And it's stuck between those rocks! Pikachu: Pika! Ash: Well, I guess we have to get it out of there, huh? Ash and TJ walk over to Voltorb and lift it out of the rocks. TJ: This thing is heavy! Ash: Don't worry, only a little more! (to himself) Weakling. Suddenly, a Pidgeotto comes out of nowhere and sweeps near the Voltorb, which ticks the Pokémon off. It begins to flicker wildly with electricity, which causes Ash and TJ to drop it to avoid being shocked. Ash: What's with this thing? TJ: I think that Pidgeotto might've spooked Voltorb. And it's getting ready to self destruct! Pikachu: Cha! Ash: Quick, make a break for it! It was too late, though, as Voltorb explodes in their faces. The explosion sends smoke billowing throughout the surrounding area. Now, something like this doesn't go without attracting the fourth leg... Brock: (who was tasting his soup when the explosion occurred) What was that? I'd better go check it out. Brock starts running towards the forest to make sure his friends are all right. When he arrives at the scene of the disturbance, he already spots a girl (Sally) there trying to help Ash get up. The Voltorb, which neither Brock nor Sally knew caused the explosion, had already rolled out of sight. Sally: (picking up Ash off the ground) Hey, kid, are you all right? Ash: (slowly waking up, but mistaking Sally for someone else) Hey Misty, did you dye your hair? Sally: Misty? Who's Misty? Ash: (now fully awake) Wha! You're not Misty! Sally: (sarcastically) Well, that's plainly obvious. Ash: Where's Pikachu? He spots Pikachu also getting up slowly nearby, slightly charred, but otherwise okay. TJ: (getting up) I suppose I'm the non-existent person here, right? Sally is checking Ash for wounds, while Pikachu looks on. TJ facefaults. Brock: Are you guys all right? Ash: We're fine, Brock! We were trying to help a Voltorb when a Pidgeotto scared it, and the Voltorb exploded in self-defense. Brock: (turns to Sally) And you are, miss? Sally: (sticking out her hand) I'm Sally. Brock: (sticking his out, and shaking it with Sally's) My name's Brock. Pleased to meet you, Sally. TJ: (dusting himself off) Hi! I'm TJ. Sally: Nice to meet you. (turns to Ash) And you are? Ash: (stands up in pride) I'm Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town, and I'm going to become the world's greatest Pokémon trainer! Sally: Sure. You and every other trainer that's passed through these parts. Ash: I will become the world's greatest Pokémon trainer! Just watch me! He turns around, and suddenly trips over a tree limb. He falls flat on his face to the floor, and everyone breaks out in laughter. TJ: We watched you, Ash, and it wasn't pretty! Sally: (stops laughing, then sighs) Well, if you guys are okay, then I'd better head back to my campsite. Brock: Wait, Sally! Why don't you come and eat lunch with us. TJ: Yeah, we'll get a chance to get to know each other better. Ash: And how you managed to get out here so fast. Sally: Well, you three seem to be pretty nice... oh, why not. Besides, it gets lonely out here if you travel all by yourself. Let me go and get my things, and then I'll meet you at your campsite. Brock: Sure thing! Do you need any help? Sally: (walking back towards her campsite) No, I'll be fine! But thanks for asking! *** Narrator: That turned out to be quite embarrassing. Ash: You think my mom is hot, Brock? Brock: Of course. I've never seen a mom as pretty as yours, Ash. Misty: Who cares about that? What I want to know is what were you two doing picking up a girl in the forest? Sally: (interrupting) Hey, you! I know we haven't met yet in the series, but I'm pretty sure that Ash and Brock weren't trying to pick a date with me. Misty: (turning towards her) I believe you. Sally: You do? Misty: Of course. Anyone with good taste wouldn't try to get a date with a girl who wears a plain red shirt! Sally: And I suppose that yellow tank top and suspenders combo does wonders for you on the street? Misty and Sally break out into a fistfight, and Ash and Brock come over to break them apart. Ash: Stop it you two! Brock: It makes you look like you guys are the most uncivilized people in the show! Narrator: As you can see, jealousy can tear best friends apart. But that's nothing compared to our next clip. Consider the red-haired Misty, for example. She has two suitors by her side, and she doesn't even know it. Of course, that's all ruined when another female enters the equation... *** Sunday, June 26th, Cerulean City [B] Misty: We did it! Hurray! Giselle: (blowing away a lock of hair from her face) That was way too easy. Misty then walks over to check on Todd and Mikey, who are still recovering from their mismatch with the Rockets. Misty: Are you two okay? Todd: (to himself) Wow... Misty came over to help me up! Mikey: (to himself) I knew she cared about me! They both then glance over at Giselle, who's combing her hair. Todd: (to himself) Then again, did I mention how beautiful Giselle looks? Mikey: (to himself) Giselle... Misty... Giselle... Misty... okay, I choose Giselle. The two respond by getting up and running over to Giselle. Mikey: That was a great job you did, Giselle! Todd: Forget taking pictures of Pokémon... you mind if I take some pictures of you? Giselle: Pictures of me? Are you serious? Misty: Stop it you two! I lent a hand in the battle too, you know! Todd: But Giselle does it so much better than you do. Misty gets angry and wallops Todd with her mallet. Mikey thinks twice before making a comment, and he slowly backs away from Giselle. Giselle: I'll bet that those Rockets will be back... and they'll be very angry. Misty: I know. I say we head to the Pokémon gym. Giselle: (putting her hands on her hips) Why would we want to go to that crappy place? Misty: (yelling at Giselle) Because I live there, my sisters have been kidnapped, and I'd like to get some Pokémon that'll actually help me in battle! Giselle: Oh. Misty storms off mad, as Todd and Mikey crowd around Giselle again. Mikey: What was that all about? Giselle: Beats me. Todd: Maybe it's that time of the month... Misty hears Todd's remark, and turns around to whack Todd yet again. Surprisingly, though, Giselle's already knocked him to the ground. Giselle: This one's on me, Misty. (to Todd) The nerve of you! Talking about a girl's body functions is inappropriate! Be considerate for other people's feelings! Todd: (rubbing his head) Sorry. (silently) Why do I always get turned on when a girl gets angry with me? Mikey: (curiously) What are you guys talking about? Giselle: (points to Mikey) What's with the kid, anyway? Misty: (whispers to Giselle) He's only eight. Giselle: Eight? Misty, are you hanging around with Pokémon trainers, or are you running a tutoring service for elementary school students? Misty: I promised his brothers that he could tag along so he could learn the basics of Pokémon training. Giselle: (gasps) You let them talk you into bringing him along? This kid, who isn't even old enough to have a Pokémon yet, and you drag him along? And you're supposed to be a Pokémon trainer? (laughs) Seven badges, and you're dragging along a kid to who knows where, and you say it's a favor? (gasps again) Come on, you only let him tag along because he has a crush on you! (gasps yet again) You didn't know? You've been traveling with him for a long time and you don't know that? And you've got seven badges? Giselle laughs again, then looks around to see Misty just one step away from strangling her with her own two hands, while Mikey blushes to her right side, and Todd is getting up from the beating she just gave him. Misty: (trying to hold in her anger) Let's just go, okay? Giselle follows her, but she keeps her distance. Todd and Mikey, bringing up the rear, are talking to each other. Todd: So what do you think, Todd? Mikey: Huh? Todd: I've seen the look on your face. You feel the same way about Misty and Giselle, don't you? Mikey: (nods) Yeah. You mean you... Todd: Yep. The problem is, I can't decide whom to ask out. Mikey: Ask out? You mean go on a date? Todd: Yeah. What do you think? Mikey: I don't know. If you want someone who's kind, I'd pick Misty. But if I'd want someone who's beautiful, I'd pick Giselle. It depends on which type you like best. Todd: Really? You know, I'd never expect to be getting dating tips from an eight year old. Mikey: Don't worry about it. I've learned a lot since my older brothers starting hanging out with their girlfriends. The four of them arrive at the gym, to find it in shambles, but still standing. Misty starts running around, looking for any trace of her sisters or her Pokémon. Misty: Daisy! Lily! Violet! Are you guys here? Giselle: What a dump? I'm afraid I'll get dust all over my dress with all this debris around. Misty: (ticked off) Giselle, either help me look for my sisters, or go back to Pokémon Tech and crawl back into the hole you came from! Giselle: Fine! I know where I'm not wanted! You're on your own against Team Rocket! Misty: That suits me just fine! Giselle marches out of the gym. Todd and Mikey watch Giselle leave, then they turn towards Misty, then back to Giselle, back to Misty, and so on for about a minute. The boys finally decide to go after Giselle. Misty: Be that way! Mikey, I'll tell your brothers that you're with Giselle now! And I better not find those birthday pictures of mine on the newsstand next week, Todd! Misty sits down on a chair, and begins to cry. She still can't believe that two of her most trusted companions would leave her for a girl who may be twice as pretty as her, but only half as good when it came to actually battling... at least she thought of it that way. *** Back in the studio, the lights are out. Suddenly, one lone light turns on, and shines on Misty, who is sitting on a chair. Ash then appears in the light and then orders the light to move into Misty's eyes to blind her as he begins his interrogation. Ash: Okay, Misty, it's time for the million-dollar question. Misty: And that is? Ash: Who do you like the most? Todd, Mikey, the narrator, or me? Misty: Gee, that's a toughie. Can I use a lifeline? Ash: What lifeline? I'm just asking you a simple question. Misty: And I refuse to answer it. Ash: (begins to cry) You mean... you don't like me? You prefer one of the others over me, don't you? That's why you don't want to answer the question. Misty: What makes you think I like the others? I don't have a preference for anyone right now. Ash: (getting closer) Are you sure? Misty: Yes I'm sure! Now get away from me before I beat your brains in! Ash: Yes, ma'am. Narrator: It just goes to show that jealousy is a dangerous weapon. Intangible, yet deadly. Ash: Intangible? Narrator: Will Misty ever admit whom she loves? Or will Ash be forced to wait patiently for her final answer? Probably not, but when we return, we'll examine other things that were "left on the cutting room floor." ************************************************************************ Narrator: In the zone of things "left on the cutting room floor," nothing is what it seems. Take these two insane individuals for example... Daisy and Scott Evans are sneaking up on Gary from behind. Daisy: Do you have the weapon? Scott Evans: (pulls out a toothpick) Right here. The two then pounce on their intended victim. Daisy holds him down, while Scott sticks the toothpick straight in Gary's heart. Gary: That's a cheap trick... As he dies, one of his Pokéballs falls from his belt and opens. Arcanine comes out, and spotting its dead master, it turns on Daisy and Scott, who flee to try and stay alive. Daisy: I told you we should of killed Jeanette instead! Scott: Well at least I wasn't the one who decided to use a toothpick as a weapon! Narrator: See what I mean? Anything can happen. Especially in a more lighter situation... the first kiss. Here are two situations of that matter shown in their entire glory... or is it tragedy? The first features two familiar souls, as the female tries to express her feelings for the male before she heads out on her Pokémon journey. Only in the zone of things that were "left on the cutting room floor" would you see something like this... *** Saturday, August 22nd, Pallet Town [C] Several hours later...it's nine o' clock in the evening. The Water Pokémon Reserve Lake is no longer filled with Pokémon, as Professor Oak has placed them in their Pokéballs for the night. Despite that, a lonely soul sits on the grass near the lake. Another figure approaches from behind. The two face each other and begin to talk. Misty: Ash! Ash: Hi, Misty! Your note said you wanted to talk to me about something. Misty: Yeah, sort of. Ash: Well, what is it? We have to get back to my house before my mom has a fit! Misty turns around and sits silently on the ground. Ash takes a seat next to her. They watch the small ripples in the water as the background music to "Misty's Song" begins to play from out of nowhere, but they're too busy thinking to notice it. Misty finally decides to break the silence. Misty: Ash, there's been something I've been dying to tell you. Ash: Which is? Misty: (slowly) I don't know how to tell you this, but... I think I'm in love with you. Ash: Come again? Misty: (flashbacks to some of the "Pokémon" series episodes) The first time I saw you, I thought you were a creep, running off with my bike without asking. Ash: Yeah, that much I know. Misty: But the more I knew about you, the more I began to get an attraction to you. Ash: I don't see how that's possible, though. I mean, throughout our journey there have been moments when we were at each other's throats. Misty: Oh shut up! Believe it or not, you don't know how long I've been waiting to say this but... I love you, Ash Ketchum! Misty grabs Ash's face and embraces him. The refrain from "Misty's Song" plays during this time. I wanna' tell you what I'm feeling, but I don't know how to start I wanna' tell you, but now I'm afraid that you might break my heart Oh, why should anything so easy, ever be so hard to do? I wanna' tell you what I'm feeling, and to say that, I love you. Ash: What... just... happened? Misty: I just kissed you. Ash: Kissed? Kissed? Misty: Looks like you might need some time to sink this in, so... (getting up) I'll see you back at the house, Ash! I'm going to get some sleep. Ash: (waving slowly) Bye-bye. Misty: (to herself) I can't believe how stupid I acted! All I did was talk to him. And then... we kissed. I don't even know if he liked it. I don't even know if he feels the same way about me. She picks a small flower from the ground and begins to peel off the petals, one by one. She sighs as she ponders her mistakes. Misty: (to herself) It doesn't feel right. I feel as if I should have told him. What am I saying? I can't tell him after I kissed him that I'm leaving to go on my own Pokémon journey in the morning! It'll be better if he finds out for himself. That way, I'll be able to find out for sure if he likes me or not. She turns back and glances at Ash briefly. Misty: (shedding a tear) Good bye, Ash Ketchum. Hopefully the next time we meet, you'll realize the truth. You'll realize that... I love you. Misty walks off towards the Ketchum residence. After a few minutes, Ash comes to his senses. Ash: Yuck! I can't believe Misty just kissed me! Why would she do a thing like that? Ash begins to ponder this thought as he walks back to his house. Suddenly, an idea pops into his head. Ash: Hey! Maybe Misty likes me... but why? After all we've been through, why would she confess now? Wait, maybe something important in her life is happening, and she doesn't want to tell me. But what if it could be a matter of life and death? I've got to find Misty! Ash runs back to the house, takes his key out of his pocket, unlocks and opens the door, locks it again (from the inside this time), then runs up the stairs to the room where Misty is already sleeping. Ash: There she is! Shoot, she's asleep though. (sighs) I'd better not wake her. She might get all mad at me and then wonder what I'm doing in her room. That's just like her! Ash closes the door, but as he turns to go to his room, he has a change of heart, and walks back into the room. He walks up to the bedside, leans over, and kisses Misty on the cheek. Ash: (quietly) Good night, Misty. Misty stirs briefly, but doesn't wake up. Ash: Promise me you won't leave without saying goodbye, whatever it is you're worried about, Misty. Ash closes the door and heads off to bed. *** Ash: That's right! You left and didn't say goodbye! Misty: You expected me to hear that? I was asleep! And besides, I wanted to see if you really loved me. Ash: So you're expressing your love for me? Misty: Not necessarily. Ash: I knew it! You do love me! Misty: Okay, okay, I do. Just don't tell anyone else I do. Ash: Fine. It'll be our little secret. Brock: Hey everyone! Ash loves Misty! Ash and Misty: (simultaneously) Brock! They begin to chase him around the room with a chair. Narrator: Okay, so that moment took a little work on both parts to succeed. But this second hint of romance is more straightforward and to the point. It features two young kids at the Pokémon League Novice Tournament. One is a young inexperienced trainer who at this point in time has already been eliminated. The other is a performer of sorts, who trains with a Ditto as part of their act. No one expected these two to get together, not even they themselves. But fate finally brought these two together, in a romantic moment that's hard to forget... *** Wednesday, November 11th, Indigo Plateau [D] Duplica and TJ sit down at a nearby bench. Duplica: So, what's on your mind, TJ? TJ: I'd like to thank you for getting me through that tough time the other day. Duplica: Oh, you don't have to thank me. Anybody would have been glad to do the same. TJ: No, they wouldn't. No one cares about a little kid like me. I was sitting in the park for hours and you were the only person that actually said something to me. Duplica: That's because I'm a friendly person. I try to help whenever I can. TJ: Duplica, I don't know how to say this, but this funny feeling's come over me ever since I saw you at the Opening Ceremonies last week. Duplica: Funny feeling? TJ: Yeah, it's kinda weird. I sort of... Duplica: (confused) Sort of? Sort of what? TJ: I sort of like you. Duplica: You... like me? TJ: Yeah, but as much more than a friend. Duplica: TJ, just what are you trying to say? She was still obviously blind to TJ's attraction to her. TJ slowly bowed his head, then raised it slowly as he muttered three words... TJ: I love you. Duplica was stunned. She had never expected TJ to say that. Duplica: (deep in thought) Did he just say what I thought he just said? He's in love with me? I can't be in love with him. He's at least two years younger than I am. I'm more attracted to Ash then I am to TJ. [1] TJ: (waving his hand in front of Duplica's face) Hello? Earth to Duplica? Ditto: (trying to snap its master out of her trance) Ditto, ditto? Duplica: (still in thought) What should I do? I didn't know he had feelings for me. (Begin flashback # 1) [2] Duplica: Well, I guess I'd better get going. I'd like to see some of the other matches. TJ: Hey, Duplica, right? Would you like to come with me? I heard there's a good match out on the Grass Field right now. Duplica: Great, let's go! (End flashback) Duplica: (thinking still) Or maybe he's just over me because I helped comfort him... (Begin flashback # 2) [3] Duplica: Say, you want to go with me, Cassie, and Jeanette to the movies tonight? TJ: I'll think about it, Duplica. (they both get up) Thanks, Duplica. You're a true friend. TJ hugs Duplica, which catches her by surprise. TJ lets go, then waves goodbye while walking away. TJ: Thanks again, Duplica! Duplica: (still slightly stunned) Okay, then, TJ, see you later. (End flashback) Duplica: (yep, still in thought...) But maybe there is something about TJ... (Begin flashback # 3) [4] Ditto: Dit to to dit? Duplica: Oh, come on, Ditto. We're just friends. It's not like we're that close. Ditto: (sighs, then changes back to its original form) Ditto. Duplica: (walking towards the stadium) Besides, if I did get into a relationship with TJ, then Ashy-boy might turn jealous and go after him. You know how crazy Ash sometimes gets. (End flashback) Duplica: (yes... you know she's still thinking) All right, just go along with it, and see how it flows, then decide later on whether or not it's worth it. Just be careful not to break his heart too hard. TJ: Duplica? Are you in there or what? Duplica: I'm here, TJ. TJ: So, what's your reaction? Are you gonna to hug me? Run off crying? Pull out a mallet and whack me with it? I want to know! Duplica: (silently) I feel like I want to run away right now and think about it, but my brain is telling me otherwise. What should I do? TJ: So? Duplica: You really want to know, TJ? TJ: Yeah, stop killing me with the suspense. Duplica: All right, here's your answer. (her conscious speaking) I hope I know what I'm doing. She closes her eyes, puckers her lips, and gives TJ a quick peck on his lips. Duplica: How's that for an answer? The only way TJ can respond is by grabbing Duplica and giving her a long, wet kiss back. TJ: (to himself) This feels great. I'm finally kissing the girl of my dreams. Say, I wonder what she's thinking right now. Duplica: (to herself) You know, for a first kiss, this isn't too bad. I'd never thought I'd be kissing TJ though. I wonder if he's thinking the same thing. TJ: (to himself) Could it be possible? Duplica: (to herself) I've finally found my other half? TJ and Duplica: (to themselves) Yes. I'm finally with the one I love. They continue to embrace as Ditto is knocked off the table. *** Narrator: As you can see, love is always where you least expect it. Duplica: Tell me about it. I never expected all of that to happen. Narrator: Speaking of which... Matt Lenz quickly pecks Duplica on the cheek. Duplica: Oh, Matt! You mean you're in love with me? Matt Lenz: No. I just wanted to get a kiss, that's all. Duplica: Really? Okay. She leans over and begins to embrace Matt wildly, as the rest of the cast looks on in disgust. Noticing their expressions, she lets go and then promptly smacks Matt across the face. Narrator: Love. It can spread like wildfire and infect everyone it passes. Believe it or not, though, there's a more dangerous disease out there. It's called blood. If someone is hit in the right way, then blood will spread over the masses. I've got two pretty good examples to show you when we return to the zone of things that were "left on the cutting room floor." AJ: Say, this is getting good! Anyone have any popcorn? ************************************************************************ Narrator: When you think of the word "battle," you know that nine times out of ten that someone is going to get hurt. And chances are that if the battle is intense enough, a victim will begin to bleed. Then, the sky will be filled with many bats, which will swoop down and kill the person. Not a pretty sight. Some people manage to avoid that last part, though. Those lucky souls face a more serious punishment. They must suffer for their state of health, and must watch as the other combatants go down one by one. A great example is this first clip. It's definitely not for the squeamish, but of course, nothing is when you're in the zone of things that were "left on the cutting room floor..." *** Saturday, March 5th, Charger City [E] Ash: Unlikely! (throws a Pokéball) Squirtle, I choose you! Sally: (throws a Pokéball) Tauros, go! Ash: Squirtle, water gun! Sally: Tauros, take down! Mewtwo: Really? Do you think that these two pathetic Pokémon can stop me? He puts one paw in the air and automatically knocks out both Squirtle and Tauros. Ash: Squirtle! Return! Sally: Tauros! No way! Ash: Okay then, you asked for it! It's time to go hard core! (throws a Pokéball) Charizard, I choose you! Charizard: Rrrrrrroooooaaaaarrrrrr! Sally: (pulls out Tauros' Pokéball while throwing another to the ground) Tauros, return! Gyarados, go! Ash: I'm counting on you, Charizard! Use your seismic toss! Sally: Gyarados, you're a natural in the water, so use dragon rage! Charizard prepares to pick up Mewtwo, while Gyarados begins to form his dangerous water spout to take out the psychic Pokémon. Sally then pulls Ash and Pikachu to the side. Ash: Sally? What are you doing? Sally: Don't tell me you don't know how powerful Dragon Rage is? Ash: Oh yeah. I remember now. [5] The three duck behind a giant rock. But before things can get any more dangerous, Mewtwo uses his psychic powers to stop the two Pokémon in place. He then uses psychic again, this time to turn the two Pokémon against each other. Ash and Sally watch in horror as their Pokémon try to rip each other apart. Ash: Charizard, go after Mewtwo, not Gyarados! Sally: Gyarados! Mewtwo's your enemy! Stop fighting Charizard! But the two fail to obey orders, and it doesn't take long for the two to knock each other out. Ash: Charizard, return! Sally: Gyarados, return! Mewtwo: Come on! Send as many Pokémon as you want. There won't be anyone that'll beat me. Back on shore, the old man is put in a stretcher and taken to the hospital. Ron, though, refuses to go. Ron: I'm not going to the hospital. I'm fine. TJ: But Ron, you have to go! You were just involved in a shipwreck. At least have the doctors take a look at you. Ron: Sorry, TJ, but I wouldn't miss the chance to document a rare Pokémon! Ron runs off to the shore where the battle is taking place. TJ: Ron! Wait! Brock: TJ, no! It's too dangerous! Jenny: Tell Ron to come back here, or I'll personally make sure he does end up in the hospital! The three of them follow Ron down to the shore. Catching up with him, they are surprised to see Mewtwo easily taking care of everything Ash and Sally can throw at him. Brock: We've got to help! TJ: Yeah! They'll need all the help they can get. The two run to join Ash and Sally, while Ron and Jenny take shelter behind a rock. Ron: Wait until the boys at the laboratory see this! Jenny: I don't think this would be a good time to do research, Ron. Ron: Oh, nonsense. The best time to document a Pokémon is when they're in the middle of a battle. On the field, Ash and Sally are exhausted, as Ash's Bulbasaur, Muk, and Krabby, as well as Sally's Dugtrio, Chansey, and Gengar, are lying dead (not literally) on the field. Sally: I'm down to Nidoqueen, Ash. How about you? Ash: Just Pikachu. Pikachu: Pika pika pika! Ash: No, Pikachu, I don't want you to get hurt. They then here two voices from out of nowhere, who throw their Pokémon into the fray. Brock: Onix, Geodude, Zubat, Vulpix, go! TJ: Kangaskhan, Exeggcute, Sandshrew, Butterfree, Flareon, Vulpix, let's go! Ash: It's Brock and TJ! Sally: Thank goodness! Mewtwo: More challengers? This is unbelievable. Still, they're no match for me. Dark clouds begin to form overhead, as Mewtwo begins to charge up. Brock: Onix, rock slide! Geodude, rock throw! Zubat, wing attack! Vulpix, fire spin! TJ: Kangaskhan, dizzy punch! Exeggcute, solar beam! Sandshrew, fury swipes! Butterfree, psybeam! Flareon, rage! Vulpix, flame thrower! Mewtwo: Confusion! In one flash of light... mostly in part to the lightning that is forming... all of the Pokémon forget what attack they were doing. Brock: Oh no! TJ: Why won't our Pokémon attack? Sally: Not so fast, Mewtwo! (throws her last Pokéball) Nidoqueen, go! Body slam! Nidoqueen lunges at Mewtwo, but the psychic Pokémon uses confusion once again. Sally: Oh no! Not you too, Nidoqueen! Mewtwo: Now it's my turn to play. Mewtwo turns all of the Pokémon against their trainers, while enabling all of their abilities in the process. Vulpix: Vullll! Vulpix uses its fire spin attack to trap Brock. Brock: Vulpix! No! Onix and Geodude begin to throw rocks into the circle, while Zubat tries to swoop down and bite Brock. Brock: (waving off Zubat while attempting to dodge the falling rocks) Hey, what are you guys doing? Stop! Brock is burned and then nearly buried under tons of rock thanks to his Pokémon. Meanwhile, Sally is running away from her stampeding Nidoqueen, who's chasing her. Sally: Stop, Nidoqueen! I'm your friend! She jumps out of the way before Nidoqueen can flatten her, but her Pokémon turns around and uses her pinneedle attack against her. The needles strike her across the back and all over her legs. She falls to the ground in extreme pain, favoring her left leg. Sally: Ow! My leg! Gengar then appears in front of her and licks her. As she stands there paralyzed, Dugtrio uses tackle and Chansey uses her doubleslap to add their two bits to her injured body. On the other side of the beach, Pikachu is trying to keep Ash safe from Bulbasaur, Muk, and Krabby. Bulbasaur: (directing its razor leaf attack at Ash) Bulba! Ash: (dodging out of the way) Whoa! (thinking to himself) I'm sure glad I recalled Charizard earlier... otherwise I'd be in real trouble! Krabby uses its crab hammer attack while Muk simultaneously throws sludge at Ash. Pikachu runs over and pushes Ash out of the line of fire while avoiding the attacks itself. It then uses a thunderbolt to electrocute both Pokémon. Pikachu: Pikachu! Bulbasaur tackles Pikachu from behind, and the two begin to scuffle. Down near the water, TJ is being overwhelmed. Flareon and Vulpix cut off his escape route using their fire attacks, and then Kangaskhan grabs him. This allows Butterfree to use a psychic blast to disorient him. Exeggcute attacks him head on, setting up for Sandshrew, who's hiding underground. As soon as TJ is knocked over his position, Sandshrew jumps up from the sand and uses his fury swipes to rip him apart. TJ: (screaming) Aaaaaaahhhhh! Somebody stop this nightmare! The other Pokémon jump in using an assortment of other far range attacks until TJ falls to the ground hard, bleeding all over his body. Ron, still looking on with Jenny from behind a rock nearby, notices this and freaks out. Ron: (coming out of his hiding place to check on TJ) TJ! Jenny: No! Don't go out there! Mewtwo spots Ron, and telekinetically slams his back into hard rock, knocking him unconscious. Jenny tries to make a run for it... Mewtwo: Ah, another one. You're not getting off that easily! He uses swift to cut off Jenny's escape path. Jenny tries to turn around and escape, but her high heeled shoes trip over a small piece of glass in the sand. Mewtwo uses mist to freeze Jenny in place. Mewtwo: Pathetic human. I'll deal with you later. He then turns to see Pikachu succeeding in defeating Bulbasaur and Kingler, but still struggling a little bit with Muk. But even Muk soon falls to Pikachu, who's now pika pooped. Pikachu: Cha! Ash: Pikachu? Are you okay? Pikachu: Pi... Mewtwo: Well, human, since you and your Pikachu fought so bravely, I'm going to give you a reward. You're going to die first. Ash: I won't let you defeat me, no matter what it takes. Suddenly, a Lapras swims onto shore, which attracts Mewtwo's attention. *** Narrator: Every battle has two sides... the side of good and the side of evil. In the world of Pokémon, the side of good consists of Pokémon trainers like Ash, Misty, and Brock. Team Rocket represents the side of evil. Check out this simulation featuring Matthew Katinas and Cassidy & Butch. Believe it or not, although the world of logic suggests that good triumphs over evil, evil has as much of a chance of winning a Pokémon battle as good at its start. Usually, whoever makes the first mistake is the one who loses the match. Let us watch and see how our special guest player fares against the Team Rocket members of his choice. Matthew Katinas: (throwing a Pokéball) Porygon, go! Giovanni: And I choose Mewtwo. Mewtwo comes out and immediately attacks Porygon, knocking him out in one blow. He then uses a psychic attack to kill Matthew. It then turns towards Giovanni. Giovanni: What are you doing? I am your master! Mewtwo doesn't listen to Giovanni, as he eliminates him in the same manner. He then uses his blizzard attack to freeze the entire planet, killing all of its inhabitants in the process. Mewtwo: The world is mine. And as for Team Rocket, you won't be experimenting on any Pokémon... again. With that, Mewtwo heads out into orbit in search of a new planet to live on. Narrator: Of course, it's only a simulation. Anything can happen. Matthew: (covered in black soot) You're telling me. You need to get that thing checked. Narrator: Take this next clip, for example. The battle between a small team of heroes and a crazed maniac can yield the most radical and unlikely results. In fact, Misty, Arius, and Sabrina faced this situation head on, and almost lost their lives for it. Here, take a look. *** Wednesday, November 11th, Saffron City [F] The following morning, November 11th. Misty, Officer Days, and Officer Jenny (she finally arrived after being on duty all day long) have been allowed to enter the gym once the strange "time freezing" shield goes down. Speaking of which... Days: The shield is coming down! Jenny: Let's go! Misty: Hang on Arius and Sabrina! We're coming to save you guys! The three enter the gym and head towards the battle arena room. Once inside the room, they see everyone still waking up from the effects. Pauly: Well look who's back. It's the little squirt with two police officers! Misty: Who are you calling a squirt? Jenny: Let me handle this, Misty. My name is Officer Jenny, the head of the Saffron City Police Department, and I'm ordering you to surrender. Pauly: Oh, sure. A blue-haired woman in a skirt that's smaller than her brain is going to order me to surrender? Jenny: (gets angry) That's it! I'm going to tear you apart! Days: (holding her back) Calm down, Jenny! That guy's crazy! Don't listen to anything he says. Pauly: (to Days) You're the sorriest excuse for a police officer I've ever seen! Days: (enraged) You've pulled me over the edge, creep! Now you're going to get it! He pulls out his gun and fires a shot before Misty or Officer Jenny can stop him. But just as quick as the shot is fired, Sabrina, who had slightly recovered from the last battle, suddenly begins to favor her right shoulder. Misty: Sabrina! The trio watches as blood starts to trickle from Sabrina's shoulder and onto her hands. Misty tries to help Sabrina, but Pauly telekinetically sends her flying towards the wall. The room falls dead silent as Misty feels a crack in her back as she collides with the wall. She collapses to the ground, anguishing in pain. Arius, who has just awaken, takes this slight moment of freedom to knock his brother down to the floor. Pauly: How dare you! Arius: You shouldn't have taken your eyes off me, brother. Pauly: That's it! You and me, one on one, all for nothing. Arius: Agreed. The two began to stare down at each other. Suddenly, two psybeams are emitted from their heads, and they begin to fight. The match is about even; one can't get an advantage over the other. Pauly: You will never defeat me, brother. Arius: I beg to differ, brother. Meanwhile, Jenny and Days run over to revive Misty. Jenny: Misty, are you all right? Misty: (waking up) I'm okay. Days: That was a hard hit you took there, kiddo. Misty: I'll be fine. Wait, what about Sabrina? She gets up and runs over to Sabrina. Misty: Sabrina, are you okay? Sabrina: No, I'm in terrible pain. Misty could see blood all over Sabrina's left hand, which was covering the bullet wound. Days and Jenny join them shortly after. Days: (sweatdrops) Sorry about that. I could have sworn I aimed for that guy. Sabrina: (weakly) Of course you were aiming for him. He telekinetically redirected the bullet in mid-air and sent it flying towards me. Days: That's impossible! Sabrina: Impossible for anyone except an experienced psychic. Misty: Lucky for you, Sabrina, his aim was slightly off. Jenny: (pulls out a handkerchief from her blouse) Let's tie that wound up. Sabrina: (stands up) Don't worry about it. She begins to form a ball of energy to use against Pauly. Misty tries to stop her, but the light is so bright that she can't get within twenty feet of the psychic master. Misty joins Jenny and Days, who are watching the struggling battle between the battling brothers. Arius: (becoming stronger) I'm going to finish you no matter what, Pauly! Pauly: (equally increasing power) No, Arius, it is I that will finish you! Sabrina: (deep in thought) This is my chance to put this guy down! (to Pauly) Pauly, or whatever your name is, you may invade my gym, steal all my Pokémon, and hurt my friends. But don't you ever, don't you ever try and touch me! Misty: (to Jenny and Days) Stay back! She's never been this angry before! Days: You think? Jenny: Shut up, Days! Misty's being serious, for crying out loud! Sabrina fires the energy ball at Pauly, hitting him in the back. This gives Arius the advantage he needs to apply full power to his attack. Arius' psybeam and Sabrina's energy ball converge at the exact point that Pauly is standing at. When the smoke clears, Pauly's body is unconscious on the floor. Sabrina: The nightmare is finally over. She sighs in relief. Suddenly, all the Pokémon that Pauly had captured are released, including numerous ghost Pokémon and all of Sabrina's Pokémon. Kadabra and Haunter reappear by Sabrina's side. Sabrina: Kadabra! Haunter! I'm glad you're both all right! Arius: My brother... I really didn't want it to end this way. Misty: (walks over and puts her hand on his shoulder) You know there was no other way, Arius. Jenny: (checking Pauly's pulse) He's alive, but barely. We'd better get the paramedics in here! Days: Right away, Jenny! Days leaves the room to get the paramedics. Misty, Arius, Jenny, and Sabrina walk over and examine the limp body of Pauly. Sabrina: Well, at least he isn't bleeding that much. Misty: That's good. I've seen enough blood for one day. Arius: Be thankful that we defeated my brother. We couldn't even beat Jane and Calamity, remember? Misty: (rolling her eyes) Don't remind me. Sabrina: (poking at Pauly) I can't imagine that someone like Pauly could become so evil. Then again, I remind myself of the days in which evil spirits possessed me... that was, until Ash came along and freed me. Misty: Ahem... if I remember right, it was Haunter that freed you from the spell. Sabrina: (sweatdrops) Oh yeah, that's right. Jenny: So, Arius, do you know how your brother inherited his psychic powers? Arius: I think it has something to do with my parents... they used to work as part of the crew here at the gym. Sabrina: Really? How come I don't seem to know about them? Arius: I guess it was because they were only here for about a month before they moved to Cobalt Town. They said this town was too noisy at the time. Unknown to any of them, Pauly had managed to get back up... and is charging a psychic blast. He fires it at his unsuspecting brother, paralyzing him on the spot. The three females gasp in surprise as Pauly starts to approach them, charging another blast simultaneously. Pauly: (smiling maniacally) You really thought you could get rid of me that easily? (points to Arius) Obviously, my brother here thought so. Now it's time to take care of you three! He throws the blast at the trio. They attempt to dodge out of the way, but only Jenny can avoid it. She watches as the other two are frozen in place. Jenny pulls out her shotgun as Pauly notices his mistake and starts to approach her. Pauly: Rats! I hate it when I leave one victim out of all of the fun. Jenny: Well then, allow me to be the party pooper! She opens fire on Pauly, only to watch each bullet disintegrate as it reaches the psychic barrier he is using to protect himself. Using his psychic powers, his mind wrestles the shotgun from Jenny's hands and into his. Then he fires another psychic blast to paralyze Jenny in place. Pauly: Really, Officer Jenny, a simple shotgun? Don't tell me that this is the best line of defense against super villains like myself. Why don't you just use your Pokémon? Oh, that's right... I can capture them and use them as my own, right? Pauly drops his shield as he inspects the shotgun's barrel. He then frowns. Pauly: Shoot, there's only one bullet left! He loads the gun and points it at Officer Jenny's head. Pauly: Oh well, Officer Jenny. It's lights out for you! A lone gunshot is fired. Jenny closes her eyes and braces for impact. Surprisingly, she opens them seconds later to discover that she's still alive... and that she's no longer paralyzed. She sees Arius, Misty, and Sabrina slowly recovering nearby. She then spots Pauly down on the floor, with a bullet wound near his left shoulder. Officer Days suddenly comes up to her and offers her a hand. Days: Are you okay, Jenny? Jenny: (taking Days' hand) Days? What happened? Days: (showing Jenny his shotgun) I shot him. Jenny: You what? Days: Well, he was attempting to kill you! What did you want me to do, sneak up and try to strangle him? Jenny: (smiles) Well, I'm glad you came to the rescue. Let's get this guy to the hospital before he dies. The paramedics come in, carrying a large gurney. They place Pauly in a strange type of restraining device, then place him on the gurney and push it out of the room. Jenny and Days follow them out. Arius then walks over to Sabrina, and ties Jenny's handkerchief around Sabrina's injured shoulder. Sabrina: (smiling) Thanks for your help. Arius: (smiling back) I couldn't have done it without you, Sabrina. Sabrina gets up, stares at Arius, and then looks at Misty, who's just standing there watching them. Sabrina: Ah, Misty, I guess I owe you some thanks as well. Misty: Oh, you don't have to thank me, Sabrina. I just help whenever I can. Sabrina: And for that I'm going to give you the chance to earn a Marsh Badge. Misty: A Marsh Badge? No, I can't fight you now, Sabrina. You're still weak from the battle. It would be unfair for me. Arius: Yes, Sabrina, you need some rest. Sabrina: Trust me, Misty. All though I don't look one hundred percent physically, I am one hundred percent mentally ready. Misty: All right, if you say so. *** Narrator: Those were some great battles, weren't they? Well, guess what... we're almost done! A loud yell can be heard from all of the remaining cast members. Narrator: Wait a minute. We've saved the most terrifying feature of our show for last! The cast responds this time with loud screams and boos directed at the narrator. Narrator: You'll see it when we return to the zone where extra pieces of the story are left... otherwise known as the place where things are "left on the cutting room floor." ************************************************************************ Narrator: How many of you are nervous about our last scene? Every single member of the cast raises their hands high into the air. Narrator: Well, let's ease the tension a little bit here. The narrator magically makes Tracey Sketchit appear in front of him. Tracey: What's going on? What am I doing here? Narrator: Welcome to the place where we find out what's "left on the cutting room floor!" Tracey: So... what exactly do you do here? Narrator: Is that a request for torture? A few minutes later... Tracey is seen standing against a wall, blindfolded, and with an apple on top of his head. Tracey: Hey! What's up? Does your insurance policy cover accidents? Narrator: Policy? What policy? Tracey shakes in terror as his potential assassin picks up a crossbow and takes her place twenty meters away. Erika: (aiming the crossbow at Tracey) Now don't you worry, Tracey! I'm an ace at archery! Tracey: (beginning to shake in his boots) I sure hope so! Suddenly, the mailman runs in and taps Erika on the shoulder, causing her to fire at Tracey. She turns her back to talk to the mailman, who hands her a telegram. After handing him a tip, Erika opens the telegram and reads it out aloud. Erika: Erika. Stop. Someone at the gym has kidnapped Gloom. Stop. We believe it might be Team Rocket. Stop. Don't worry, Officer Jenny is on their trail right now. Stop. By the way, do you want to go the local café and get a cup of coffee? Stop. See you soon! Stop. Your best friend, Madison. Stop. Ash: That's a very long telegram! Say, Erika, does that mean you're heading back to Celadon City? Erika didn't answer... she had already run out the door! In the meantime, no one is noticing that Tracey is trying to sneak out of the room, clutching his right shoulder. Narrator: Hey, stop right there! (sarcastically) Oh great, we just lost the show's star! Oh well... say, let's get on to the last scene. Now, our last scene is actually familiar to some people. Remember the "Misty Files" contest from a few months back? Some of you probably don't... only three people actually remembered to enter! Anyway, it's now time to reveal the answer. It's time to find out which scene was the real scene. May I have a drum roll please! A drum roll begins almost instantaneously. Narrator: The correct answer is scene # 1, Duplica's sort of romantic moment with Biff at the Cerulean City Poké-Mart! Enjoy! *** Wednesday, September 10th, Cerulean City [G] At the Pokémart, Duplica's welcomed by a guy at the checkout station. He watches in awe as she enters with Ditto. Biff: Hi, my name's Biff, and welcome to the Pokémart! Can I help you, my lovely lady? Duplica: Oh, trying to be a romancer, are you? Biff: Why don't you and me go out, say tomorrow night? I know this great place where we can stare at the moon all night. Duplica: Well, I don't know. I'm kind of traveling with someone. Biff: Oh, forget about traveling for one night. The stars are coming out tonight, and I know you'd look beautiful among them. Duplica: No, really, I'm not the romantic type. Biff: Now come on! You're telling me that you've never spent a night in a size six nightgown and snuggling with your new boyfriend? Duplica: Alright, now you're freaking me out! Biff: You know you want me. Duplica: (getting serious) Look, all I want are some Pokéballs! Biff: And I think you're looking for something more than that, my dear. Duplica: Don't you come near me! Ditto: (angry) Ditto! Biff: (trying to grab her) Why don't I take you to my fantasy world? *** Narrator: Well everyone, that just about wraps up our show. Brock: Hey! I thought that last clip was supposed to be the most terrifying clip in the show! Narrator: So I lied. Anyway, I'd like to thank everyone who participated in our trip to the zone where scenes are "left on the cutting room floor." On behalf of everyone, I'd like to wish everyone farewell, and to be prepared. The season premiere of the "Adventures Series" is coming Monday, July 31st, 2000! And if you're lucky, you'll be getting a return trip here around this time next year! (sighs) Unfortunately, someone is not going to make it to that date... TJ suddenly falls to the ground. Everyone runs over to see what's wrong. Nurse Joy checks his pulse, then turns to everyone and gives one simple headshake. Joy: He's died of food poisoning. There's nothing more we can do to him. The crowd begins to mourn his loss. James: (stops crying) Say, anyone want some pizza? Whole Cast: I do! I do! Misty: I like pepperoni and anchovies on mine! Brock: Make mine with the works! Duplica: A simple cheese pizza will be fine for me. Everyone walks off, leaving TJ's dead body lying on the set. ************************************************************************ Friday, August 12th, Route 22 Ash wakes up while screaming his head off. This wakes up his traveling companions, Brock and Pikachu. Ash's eyes open fully as he notices only a little bit of light... the sun is starting to come up. Pikachu: (running over to Ash) Pika pi! Pikachu, pika pi? Brock: Ash! Are you okay? Ash: I'm fine, Brock. I just had this weird dream... or was it a nightmare. Brock: Hmmm... could it be a sign of things to come? Ash: Maybe. Brock: (yawns) Well, since we're up, I'd better start fixing breakfast. We're going to have to go all out if we're to catch up with Misty and Giselle in Indigo by nightfall. Ash: (clenches his fist) Right! Let's get moving! Narrator: And so, another day begins as our heroes continue their journey to become masters of the Pokémon world. And unknown to Ash, the dream that he just experienced was very real. He did visit the zone of things "left on the cutting room floor." Luckily for him, he won't remember a thing. That's good, because with at least another season to go, we don't want to lose any important characters for the storylines ahead! Until next time, viewers! The End? It better be... I don't know how much more insanity Ash can take. So what do you think? Should I do more fanfics like this, or should I stick with what I regularly do? Let me know... e-mail me at jgg121@yahoo.com. I've been real busy these past few weeks. ^^;; By the way, did anyone notice the reference to "Cardcaptors" in this fic?
